5 shot pigeon cartridges please

Recommended Posts

Hi Guys

Any suggestion for 5 shot (2.8mm) pigeon cartridges please, happy with the price of all the 6 shot pigeon cartridges but 5’s kill better (not wishing to start a debate) on pigeon and other vermin

Struggling to see why there is £100 price hike to game cartridges when load size is the same .. especially when I have so many crows to remove.

2.8mm extreme 6’s also ok.. its just marketing ********.

I know jockers come in a 5 and 6, I find them quite punchy even though the auto though.

Edit, only seen them in plas wad too.

Good point, Fibre only please!

Rc romagnola in a 6 is a UK 5 or 5.5. Very hard hitting and an odd smell when fired. Relatively cheap if you can find them.

Thanks, I’ll keep an eye out!

I have seventy five or so Lylvale English 5 Special Game. I am near M1 J21 at Leicester Forest East. If the distance isn't a problem PM me and I'm sure we can agree a price.

Thanks but it would make them the most expensive cartridges ever!

Clarkes of walsham are doing saga export,  30g no5's in fibre for £6.04 a box.

Mallard barn are doing Eley hi-flyers 32g no 5 fibre for £7.77 + Keith who runs the place is a diamond.

Super! Thanks, I’m passing Clarke’s next week

Mallard Barn is great, it’s just so far out of my way ...

RC SIPE 32 gram 5s are awesome,  a favourite factory load of mine game  pigeons and crows.

Pricey though compared to pigeon shells and we’ll get through ,000’s this year

How about pretending you have 5s in when you actually are using 6s?

I think you'll do better.

If only, would save a fortune, a clear difference between 5’s and 6’s for me, always has been

Hi PPP,
not sure if you have anybody near yourself that stock these but they are very good for the money, they also do the “special”  in 32g fibre #5 for little more.  👍🏻64C70622-5929-4E1C-B2EE-DBFA648F3416.png.32464b6e053df1f9d816f51a4e0ec2b5.png
