I agree with you. the behaviour outside cummings home is very bad , and i feel needs suitable retribution from the law. The press are terrible. On deaf ears probably here. but please boycott them. I can not see how in this day and age we even need the press. Why encourage these low life to inflict their behaviour on people.

Easy to say when they are not hounding you and your family.

I'd like to see if you'd still have the same opinion, if they were camped outside your family home, harassing you and your family.

Perhaps you could become a paid advisor, to all those in positions where they are hounded by the press, and teach them the correct way to get rid of the scum.

Forget opinion polls, they mean nothing at this stage of the Tories term in office. In a few years time, we will be out of the EU, a vaccine will have been found for Covid-19 and unless Labour get their act together, the Tories will be nailed on for another win.

 

Good post Gordon. I really don't like Cummings at all but I like the people trying to get rid of him even less.

It was actually Ms Flack that sprung to my mind when the news on Dr Ferguson broke, if the press had locked onto that one then I think it may not have ended well. Unless Cummings' persona is a front, and I don't for one second believe it is, then I don't think he's vulnerable.

Just coming back to this. I started reading his blog and whilst there are some interesting points in it, I sometimes got the impression that he did not really understand some of the concepts he was discussing and advocating. In the case of an "architect" for some of things he advocates he may or may not know enough to stitch it all together in the big scheme of things.

I assume you read / have read his blog too?

I will dig back further if this is something that genuinely interests you.

At the moment I'm still trying to get my head around if / why he tried to position himself as some kind of sage on global pandemics which is suggested was done in retrospect. If such underhanded behaviour is proven then I believe it does go some way to support my "reservations" regarding what he really is all about. For the life of me I have no idea why the press aren't latched onto this, it's actually a pretty big deal in my book...

Actually I do know why, large portions of the press are junk.
