john12
Just after abit of advice. I would like to get some sort of night vision for my air rifle for shooting a few rats. Could anyone recommend anything? Don't really want to spend a fortune as will only use a few times. Many thanks

strimmer_13
UK night vision kit is good. £160 for basic kit as long as you have a ir torch.
oldypigeonpopper
Hello, some people on the AGF forum are buying a clone of the Pard 007 and getting good results at air rifle range including the onboard I/R ,
Scully
I don’t know a thing about night vision, but a couple of mates have Pard(?) affixed to their pcp’s specifically for the purpose of shooting rats. 243deer
yukon photon for me but then I like the simplicity of a dedicated set up
robbiep
I'd say Yukon Photon too Put something like a set of Warne QD mounts and rings on, and you can switch from normal scope to NV in 60 seconds or less, with no zeroing required. I used to do a single check shot to confirm, but don't bother any more, repeatability is perfect
Fisheruk
Pard either 007 or 008, depending on your purse, both excellent.
Longbower
Photon XT For me too , on quick detach mounts (picatinny) on HW110. Perfect for ratting . Swaps back in seconds , zero shift not a problem.

Depends if you like your eyes so close to a screen it stings some people. I suspect the eye-sting is an indication something is deteriorating in the eye that might not show up for years.
