I know they are common but this year there seems to be more, the grass fields up here are crawling with them. Have any you boys come across them where you are? gmm243 Posted September 5, 2023 Report Share Posted September 5, 2023 8Masses of daddies here at the minute. Just cut the lawn this evening and they were getting up all through it. Have also had a lot in the house and at night any light that is left on is attracting them too. I would say there are more than usual. We had an abundance of wasps which thankfully seem to have died away a fair bit, sadly I lost one of my hives of bees to wasps this year. As stated above we also have a huge number of Dragon flies, was out for a stalk last evening and notices a lot of them along the roads and ride lines.
