hahaha nice.

But that's the rub. Having watched the trailer, it feels like it's leaning far, far too heavily on the original, like it's more Gladiator Rehash than Gladiator II.

Stolen shots, stolen camera angles, stolen armour themes: It feels all a bit too derivative.

The same thoughts.

For me the best scene was the battle in the forest at the start. "Unleash hell". Awesome.

Yes he did.

"Hollywood" are getting desperate to keep the money rolling in and piggybacking off of a great movie is a good way to do that.

My cousin worked on the special effects for the first one and went up to collect the Oscar when they won . He was sat at a table with Sylvester Stallone and Russel crow . He said Stallone was a lovely bloke but russel crow an arrogant ****. My mum still has it on vhs video . Him collecting the Oscar.

Paul Mescal has come a long way from advertising Denny's sausages to bedding Daisy Edgar-Jones and now a gladiator!

PS can't see it being nowhere near as the original. And Russell Crowe was 5 miles away from me in a near bye village last week.

Nobody has even mentioned Denzel Washington, he tends to be rather good 😳

I never liked Denzel since Crimson Tide, but I have to admit, he is normally excellent.😉
