I've just laid the hanging baskets on the ground put the picnic set in the garage and moved anything else laying about the winds fair getting up and the rain is getting heavier just a case of sitting it out tonight and seeing if there's any damage tomorrow

Had it this morning in Hampshire , they cancelled Great South Run , nothing much but heavy rain , as someone said earlier nothing more than an autumnal storm but met office jumping on climate change agenda by hyping it up , let’s hope they’re right

Well we shot the ESP Reg at Sporting Targets this morning, weather forecast had been pretty awful.

We got round with 6 spots of rain and some gusty wind.

Afterwards I went shopping in Stamford as the heavy rain stopped and the sun came out.

Now back at home, heavy rain and heavy wind, so happy to stay indoors and see what tomorrow brings.

More likely I fancy to be the 1987 syndrome.

Am in  n Ireland.

Had plenty of wind but not much rain until about 4pm.

The wind was very string but thankfully has done no damage to our house. Spent yesterday evening bringing in the summer chairs etc and strapping down the bee hives. My parents house has some big branches off a few beech trees but no trees down.

While it eas bad at times j think it was not as bad as forecast and certainly not as bad as the big storm we had easrky in the year which totally destroyed my greenhouse.

We had a Yellow weather warning which is now normal on a cloudy day with the threat of rain showers , I was out along the river at 7 am and apart from cloudy it stayed dry , got home and within an a hour the wind got up with about medium rain , around dinnertime it got heavy and cleared away around 5 ish , just took my dog out and the moon is shining and the wind have died down so another Yellow warning have passed with no mishap ,next week should be a half tidy week , the other half I am not sure about

All good, spent the morning arranging things that could blow/break away or tucked in to the fence on the ground. Got the concrete and pavers treated with hypochlorite in anticipation of heavy rain, got a few showers and that was it. Not much in the way of trees or damage, got the odd strong gust of wind, outside wasn't too bad either 😛.
