I sincerely hope it gathers legs and enough momentum to blow open years and years of deceitful cover up, in-action and simply turning a blind eye, and that those responsible are exposed and prosecuted. I know it’s a cliche, but that doesn’t make it any the less true: all it takes for evil to prosper is for good men ( and women ) to do nothing. In many cases it is apparent that not only did they do nothing, they ensured no one else was capable of doing anything. This is a shameful national outrage. I take issue with good men and women doing nothing, it is those in positions of power who are protecting the scum that have been carrying out these awful crimes. The rest of us are calling for action.

The rest of us are calling for action. I had in mind those who were complicit in a deliberate cover up. There has no doubt been many ordinarily good men and women who did nothing because they had too much to lose. Job security is paramount when you have a mortgage and children or other dependants. I can totally understand that. The rumours have been rife for over a decade, but none of us joined the marches with TR or openly joined his campaign because we too had too much to lose. As much as I despise those who thwarted and deceived investigations into the entire sorry saga, there was no way I was going to stick my head over any parapet until it was safe to do so. Dougy Posted Monday at 21:38 Report Share Posted Monday at 21:38 Apparently starmer is asking for a full enquiry on the Southport Murders, which is only a good thing, but wont allow the rape gang a full enquiry.
Good shot? Posted Monday at 22:01 Report Share Posted Monday at 22:01 (edited) He is looking to get Farage blamed for the "far right riots" on this one and I don't believe he will, in fact the opposite will be shown imo. Spouting his hypocritical gob, now, on this. Ah, and there is his go for sensorship on the internet!! In other news, a convicted pakistani rape gang member is attempting to get a property he owns in Leeds, turned into a childrens home, of all things. How altruistic. oldypigeonpopper Posted Tuesday at 09:12 Report Share Posted Tuesday at 09:12 (edited) Hello, It made pitiful watching Keir Starmer spout his feel good factor on another enquiry when we all know nothing is done after or anyone brought to justice, He mentioned his time in was it the DPP ?? , How many Departments failed to address this young mans ability to carry out his intended Crime, How many times have we heard different Governments say they are going to do this do that and do F All Edited Tuesday at 09:35 by oldypigeonpopper

IMHO done purely to draw attention away from grooming gangs, probably because he may be found culpable like with Savill.

Agreed, he needs to be seen to be 'doing something' because hes done nothing about the grooming gang scandal. I do believe hes hoping the public will lose interest. I cant describe in words how utterly incompetent this government has been so far. I thought it would be bad, but its far surpassed my expectations, all this talk from the left about how great they were going to be at fixing 'broken Britain' Its more broken, divided, and hopeless than ever... I wish I'd left when I was able to.

armsid Posted Tuesday at 21:51 Report Share Posted Tuesday at 21:51 Is Starmer hoping it will go away after all he was a lawyer representing asylum seekers and aided the parents of this evil one to stay here and then he became Attorney General and still did nothing about Post Office jailing innocent people failing to heed anMP about grooming Jimmy Saville and whatever else he has failed to do when in office
