Hi gang.

Just been watching a chap on YouTube slagging them off. Especially the S510 Core. He said the firm are now behind the times.

As for the S510 Core i like it. Nothing wrong with my 19 yr old S410 either and they are still making them.

So what are your views on Air Arms compared to Bsa, Weirauch Daystate etc ?.

                                                                                                                  Thanks all.

Hello, Nothing wrong with any PCP if it works as is and reliable, Mostly it is the people who run these Companies, I have met the Air Arms and Brocock/ Daystate  Teams , They seem to not take notice of what is required in the PCP rifle range and never ask what customers want or like made, Oh lets make this S 510 Core , We can just add a few extra bits more than the S410 and charge a Grand , Thats a £1000 folks, Oh before any comment i have used over 25 years a AA PCP, BSA PCP, HW PCP, Falcon PCP, Brocock PCP, FX PCP,  but declined the Daystate, I have had on occasion to call Air Arms and always had good support, While i cannot say that for the Falcon team but it was years ago, I believe they have now Amalgamated with Air Arms ??

The Air Arms S410 (FAC) was the very first PCP rifle I owned. I found this a fantastic, very accurate and well built rifle. I have also purchased a HW10 since then and this too is a very well made rifle, but for me, the Air Arms is better.

Who cares what people say about things like this ? As long as you're happy with your kit/outfit/combo, just laugh at them and carry on as usual 😄

BTW, I think Air Arms are garbage 😆🤣

My bet is he's looking for a reaction or he's a fan of plastic modern looking guns?

You see very little that's bad said about the 4/500 series, I'd happily shoot a 510 with side lever, not fond of the 410, much prefer my R10, but that's my preference.

you only have to look at secret squirrels thread to know why air arms are king show me another brand you can get on the phone instantly try ringing bsa or weihrauch etc lol

Exactly, AA customer service is way beyond any others imo. I've had a few dealings with them over the years and always been very helpful.

I'm not an air arms fan boy - I'm a bsa fan boy admittedly .but I would never say air arms are **** .far from it . They make very good and reliable guns with a quality that is hard to beat.

The only air arms I had (tx200 ) was super accurate and reliable. To Diss. Airarms is to make your self look stoopid .

Much as I've never owned an air arms I've shot a few, pro sport, tx200hc and full length.

I don't like the bear trap to fiddly and unnecessarily loud.

S410 and single shot and handled a s200,the S410 jammed on the 3rd shot.

I preferred the 97k over their springers.

And much prefared my bsa scorpion over the s400/410, the scorpion never jammed, well it was a single shot but the bolt was nicer to use.

That said they're a thing of beauty and craftsmanship, the blueing is the best there is now(brummie Webley we're a clear influence, I had a mk1 stingray) . And the stocks are ergonomically well designed. The springers are top notch and come with all the bells and whistles hw97/77 owners pay EXTRA for.

I'd never buy a new one, but a tx200hc .22 does beckon to me now and then and the abt can be removed.

Nothing is perfect, I modify everything I get now to make it how I want it.

The missus included!

99% sure I used to press the lever in on my TX bear trap as I cocked it, this makes it silent and is perfectly safe if you use your common sense. As for dissing the 4/410 cos you had a single jam all I can say is that I have never had such an issue in 35 years of using AA rifles.

Hello, Obviously you do not know much about Air Arms PCPs , The 410 has been a testament of British Engineering , Sold in the 1000s and most like one of the best PCPs ever made, PS, Was it necessary to make the crass remark on your wife ??
