Haven't they already got it stopped on National trust and council land

Not really sure Bob as I am not into hunting , but we know that trail hunting is a loop hole and accidents in getting the real thing often happens , no doubt you will get land owners who will not give the hunt permission simply to stop any trouble with the protesters . MM

Funny that you get  protesters at hunts but not illegal hare coursing, Packham is a great supporter of hunt sabs perhaps he could be involved..😉

Pretty sure that did Packham a lot of damage was it not after that came out the R.S,P,B ditched him

Nice and easy to follow the hunts around and know where they are setting off from etc.

Then there's the fact that if they tried turning up and stopping a load of lads coursing then there's every chance they'd get their heads kicked in 😳

Not forgetting its mostly about the people that hunt and not the foxes.

Exactly a win win,,,,be even better if pachham was there with the bbc, surely pressure could be brought to bear on Packham et al to attend

Just saw on the news that they are trying to get a new bill out to abolish Trail Hunting , it might take a while but in this modern age I think the end is in sight and will only be a matter of time , trouble is , Who or what will be next

It was in their Manifesto and is about the only thing in it they have stuck too.

So does that include trail hunting with blood hounds? Which is quite popular now here. And what do these people think will happen to all the packs of fox hounds? Other than be put down most likely.

All you types making zero sum game type comments, are you actually going to do anything about it? Or is being proved correct more important?

“Oh but I don’t do trail hunting, I’m alright” is precisely why we can’t have handguns, self loading rifles, discretion about what type of knife we carry…the list goes on.

Not exactly Fox hunting with dogs but we sometimes hold a day where most, if not all are Pointing type dogs , these are lovely to watch but would they be classed as hunting dogs ? , although they are not the ones who do the killing they are the ones who do the hunting , I am pretty sure that everything they do is above board if it wasn't then they wouldn't hold these sort of days but how things are going they could soon be on the border line .:hmm: MM

Don't see how they can't and drag hunting as well, after all they are all the same thing really done over the same ground.

Its all about "ME"

I dont think it should be happening so nobody else should do it.

Much the same for eating meat, Historical statues, English tradition, just anything that doesn't go with the wasters mindset basically.

The sad thing is those kind of people are louder than us.

Some of "us" are those kind of people!

As can be seen in many threads on here

Yes I know but if they try to stop all forms of hunting dogs would they be on the border line .

We had a bloke bring three G W H Ps on our last full day , I have seen a lot of game shooting and nowadays it don't no longer get me to excited , I enjoy watching a class shot which I don't see that often and good dog work , I watched these three dogs looking for a Red leg in a field of fodder beet , how they homed in on it was something else and at one time the three dogs were all on point at the same time on this Red leg , he called the name on one them and a couple of seconds later he had the bird in its mouth , this was my highlight of the season .  MM
