What's the point of whingeing?

Teal is aware.

He's dealing with it at his cost.

Either go shooting, dream up a recipe for MM or catch up on all those episodes of Loose Women that you have been taping.

On a high today amateur , the sun is out on what look like a perfect day , the speed of the forum seem to be as good as ever and I am now going to bite into a nice sausage roll which is far more appealing than a loose woman 😋

Sounds very good to me.

I, on the contrary, am sitting in our local hospital urgent care department, waiting to find out why I have suddenly lost hearing in my left ear. Just like that.

Interestingly, the PW server wouldn't allow me to log on to PW using the "unsafe" hospital wifi, so this is over my mobile link, and the site seems to be running normally to me, using that. Very odd.

UPDATE

I was triaged within 15 minutes, saw a doctor an hour later, diagnosed with an infection, sent away with antibiotics and advised that if they don't do the trick, a visit to the ENT is the next step.

I can't really fault the NHS.

Glad you are on the mend and hopefully it is nothing to worry about , like you I have had some excellent service from the N H S both from the doctors and the hospitals I have been to over the last 10 months or so ,   MM
