EMT
I have noticed that there seems to be a lot of shooters who are Left Handed. The national average for lefties is only 7 - 10 % (Depending on the source of data). So I thought I would do a totally UN-Scientific study to find out if there are more lefty shooters than the national average. Edit: Wasn't sure in the poll whether you meant for shooting or for everyday life so I voted right handed. Im right handed buy very left eye dominant; just started shooting shotgun and had a day shooting off right shoulder; couldnt shoot my load! BUT have been dry mounting left handed and it feels fine and I can see miles better. How long u been shooting and do you have left hand stock ? My guns a cheapy Baikal but doesnt seem to have a specific stalk ie its a mirror image so was just going to try shooting with it off my left shoulder and see what happens! We must be special- right handed but supporting those less fortunate than us!

woodcock11
Left handed as well as far as shotgun & pistol are concerned - right handed for rifle & smg [when I was in the army] Write left handed but dont hold my pen like Barack Obama but know those who do! Being left handed has its uses. I bought a pair of Henry Atkin shotguns at auction last summer for an absolute song. The auctioneer confirmed that as they were cast slightly for a left-hander 90% of the population would not be interested though it is fascinating to see that the PW poll is running about two thirds to one third right against left. The guns have sure improved my shooting this season! Enjoy the remainder of the season out there. [First post]
