This is what happens on chopped up maize - sometimes.

Makes a change that jdog puts a photo up of a few hundred 'live' pigeons rather than dead. -
My n7 is 5.0.2 and is now back to as it was on KitKat so getting happy

Rat Problem!!! .22 Birdshot inside sheds? Help! Advice
activeviii replied to Marksman1997's topic in General Shooting Matters
Remington cbee 22lr bullets. This is what njc and I both use. Back garden rabbits or farm rats. Shoot about 40ft/lb so like fax air gun. As always, watch the back stop but one that hit a galv pen door did no damage. 35 big rats on Monday evening. Squeak!!- 51 replies

It does get better. I have n7 and n4. Wife has n4 and son an n7 My n4 was a right mess, after the 5.0 update. It took months before google sorted it with a a 5.01 update. It took a while to settle down and a lot of restarts but it works very well now. The n7 was even worse and was pants until 5.02 came out. Still having to restart from time to time but its getting better. It was OK back before the updates and I was pulling my hair out after it started to play up but, it does get better and its just as quick. Battery life is about the same as well. Persevere with it. Scream a number of times but it will get better.

Forget the coax that's there. Get a good mole man in and run 30mm tube and draw line. He might have to drop a couple of holes but a good man can run 75meters at a time. My cable system has been in 20 years on rg11 that's silicone lined. The only brake down I get is on the external connectors. I have run many many a mile of cable underground and the infrastructure still runs strong.

Tinkerers of PW, have you ever dismantled a trigger mechanism?

Load and loads. A nice clean, put back together and a few spare parts to go on to ebay. Win win -
Its in the link you posted. Just need to look. Hint, maybe someone else has asked the question

Yep, went in to buy bullets and came out with a new fabarm axis.

If your keeping for a very long time then I would be looking for a new rifle. The 243 burns barrels a little quicker than most so its rather pot luck on the second hand market unless you know the history and true shot count. I have a M595 and was lucky that the guy I bought from was OK on round count. Had to spend a little to get a few bits put right but now a good gun. New, I would look at the T3 as I like them.

If its one of the orange or green/black ones then they have a power light on, I just charge mine when they get to 3 out of 4 lights, which is about every 4th day out.

"Good Reason" - Am I doing enough?
activeviii replied to neutron619's topic in General Shooting Matters
Have you used ammo and rifle in the past 12 months, yes. What more needs? I have a farm friend who hasn't used 50 rounds in his 308 in 5 years. Till has rifle and FAC. -
48 hours to report it isn't it?

Sorry Shaun but if it locks or is fixed then you will get in trouble. Blades of less then 3 inch in a folding style is fine The Swiss multi card, with the 1 inch blabe, still illegal Daft really as I can carry a rifle, or shotgun, in its case and go to local shop but the knife has to be in the boot of car.

Nice to see a mix group, the hunt keeps splitting the groups up around where I shoot, never hang around, take a mouthful of feed and move on. Gets very challenging to harvest the right one. If you want a change of pigeons then your more than welcome tomorrow. Stripey99 can't hit them so plenty to try t.

I did just the same, took a chunk out the flat blade driver. Sent it back to have a new part put in. It came back a few days later. As the tool was discontinued it was all upgraded. A leatherman gets used with anger. Swiss army feels like it will brake if used for any more than opening letters or trimming finger nails

Shhhhh! I was waiting for the photos.lmao

Big boiling post and half a dish washer tablet. Roofing batten to clamp the antlers and the to G-clamp on side of pot to the right hight.don't put the head wear under water or it will turn them white. Skin and take as much flesh off as you can before hand. Rolling boil for 20 minutes then jet wash. Watch you doing loose the K9's I use fishing forceps to put the meninges around the brain and any clotting in the nasal cavity. If 20 minutes has not rolled the flesh between the eye then give 10 minutes more but don't over boil as it weakens the membrane between the bone plates and it will fall apart. Once all clean and you have found the teeth just epoxy them back in once its dry If you want to whiten then go to Sally's hair dressing supplies and get their gel peroxide. Pain it on a wet skull and leave for 10 minutes. Give the bleach a poke around and leave for up to and hour. No need to over night it like some do munties only take an hour. When you come to jet washing you need to get the white of the brain out. Hold on its back so to speak and put a foot on the antlers, you can now see into the brain. Point jet wash into the hole, not to close, about a foot away should do it. Make sure your looking carefully into the hole so you don't over do it. This is the way I have been doing them for a while. Works for me.

I put hook on top to hook on branch and then use fishing roach pole to put up into tree. Then just knock them down after with the pole.

Am I right in thinking that a section 7 only allows you to hold said firearms and that you can't go out and use them of purchase ammo.

Ebay for a Remington sock. Cost £7. Works a treat.

Are that sako or tikka. There is a differance, they will not fit each other rifle
-
To throw another one in the mix. Remington have just released a budget rifle too.

Order the magnets from ebay. 12mm is what I used. 10mm wood dowel in 10mm slugs. 15mm ALU tube from b and q. 2pack glue. Mix a good amount of glue and roll one of the dowels in it and put in tube. Then a magnet followed by dowel the magnet then dowel. So on till you have 5 magnets and 6 dowels. The last dowel on the end of tube. You can put a plastic cap on the ends to tidy it all up. You Ned the wood dowels or the magnets act at one and only work on the two ends. With the dowel you have 10 areas I used an old hiking pole for mine. Works very well and cost less then a tenner
