  1. I agree with robbiep, nothing that the angry side of 2500psi will not sort out.
  2. I use 27g Power Red 7's (fibre) in mine-clay cartridge but no complaints so far from the pigeons.
  3. Most likely not relevant now but back in the 80's I had a bad car accident and my car was totalled - in the boot was a Winnie 101 that the police took from the scene and stored at a local station. By the time I was up and about again it was nearly 2 months before I went to collect the gun - it was covered in rust!!! - god alone knows where they had stored it but it was ruined - worse still was the fact that it was a mates gun and I had to buy him a new one
  4. When you say "arrived" do you mean that you bought it without seeing it? If so then you are protected by the distance selling regs. - these allow you to return an item within 14 days (you have no obligation to give a reason) and get a full refund (minus postage)-you could return it and simply pay the extra for the multi?-don't get stuck with something that is not exactly what you wanted.
  5. Payback time-buy a bar of soap the same colour as the toothpaste she uses-sit it in a dish of water for about 10 minutes.....take the cap off the toothpaste tube and push the neck of the tube into the soap so that a plug is formed at the mouth of the tube. When you go to bed the night you have completed the task simply lay back and listen to the sound of sweet revenge
  6. I think that you will also need to strip out the action and move the locking lug on the bolt around 180 degrees-as for the bolt handle, I,m pretty sure that they have studloc or something similar applied at the factory so heat from a hairdryer etc should help.
  7. I agree - moving to the states has cost the show much of its charm, and talking in dollars whilst selling to your typical yank is pointless when trying to make a comparison in blighty - I also noticed that they are adding the man hours taken to restore the cars - 44 hours in the episode that I watched - add that to the cost of the restoration and you would be bankrupt in days. Much prefer CAR SOS now.
  8. The "arrestor" pin is often used with spring powered Airguns - not needed with a RF.
  9. 6 months if you're lucky rovercoupe? I have 2 external LED (pir controlled) lights that have been there at least 3 years and never missed a beat (cheap Chinese units) and ,after redecorating our kitchen 4 years ago, I bought a pack of 10 LED GU10 bulbs from china (via Ebay) for about a tenner and only one has , so far, broken.
  10. I think the whole country should take a vote on whether we stay in the Eurovision or not - although if we stop writing and singing songs who knows what could happen - more likely to be a War for one , I should think, and exports would plummet as well as the cost of food increasing
  11. If I were given a choice between watching the ESC and nailing my Testicles to an angry wasps nest I would be looking for my hammer as we speak.
  12. Probably the only way to solve this issue is if you post some pictures of her, that way we can gauge her build and reach a sensible conclusion. Don't forget that baggy clothing can be misleading so perhaps a damp T shirt or a bikini or a basque with those little lacey suspender belts.......
  13. I'm thinking - Christ on a bike that's some stunning workmanship TBH. The rather odd thumbhole position, however, did catch my eye...my comment was more of a "am I imagining it" than a criticism of any kind as your finished stock is a work of art .
  14. Enjoy it while you can....in a matter of weeks holiday season be here and everything doubles in price - nowhere to park so you visit the various attractions where you soon learn that piracy is indeed still very much alive.
  15. To my eyes it kinda looks like a right hander ( because of the cheek piece) but the thumbhole looks like its cut for your left hand?
  16. You might be wise to pop along to your local clay ground-most seem to have a selection of the more common guns that visitors can use and you get more of a feel for a gun if you can use it on something like a Sporting layout - my money , for what it's worth, would be on a 525 multi sporter but that's just me - you mention both the SP and the 525 but try both before committing - some people simply cannot get on with Beretta's whilst many find them ideal. Take your time...it's your money so you are in the driving seat
  17. Bout on a par with Dandruff and Split Ends where guns are concerned.

    What gun

That makes your choice easier still.....AA S510 ultimate sporter...and a box of Kleenex for each time you pick the gun up

    What gun

    AA S510 all day.
  20. With the greatest respect fern01, let's not forget that France lost 600,000 of her people during the last conflict - her armies were poorly equipped and totally unprepared for the might of the Wehrmacht - as were we, our only saving grace was Geography.
  21. Top one is a P57 Sea Prince-built in the 50's from memory.
  22. You would need to remove the stock and look i'm guessing-usually just a simple rod arrangement coming from the Top lever spindle-if you are not confident then I would have thought that any Gunsmith worth his salt could do it in minutes.
  23. I'm afraid that things are far worse than a potential War in Europe-rumour has it that within days of leaving the EU the DFS sale is going to end.
  24. They were indeed .....in the 1880's and were out of use by 1945. If you think it's wise to shoot .22lr upwards then be my guest, but in a modern world where much of the countryside has been built on it cannot be too often that you can be sure no one is within range of the diminutive .22 as it falls from the sky.
  25. I hope not fruity - firing a .22rf up into trees is asking for trouble.
