  1. How unusual Stu - I would put money on the fact that the only reason I ever checked the zero on my S410's (in the 10 + years that I owned the 2) was if I was bored or had changed the scope - the barrel moving is pretty much total fantasy unless you drop the gun from a considerable height and the gun lands awkwardly - how would a gun with a floating barrel cope I wonder? I had an RM-8 and the slightest tap on the barrel would send zero miles off. With regards the AA - long as the support screws are tight you can forget the barrel ever moving. If I were to be forced to put a figure on it, I would estimate that my S410 classic .177 was only ever re zeroed 5 times in 10 years and then only by a couple if clicks.
  2. How does that sit legally, twenty, with the Buzzard being protected? Also with Duck being out of season as well - interested to know if Falconry has to abide by the same rules as the shooting fraternity?
  3. If you want a rubbish razor with 5 blades, all of them made of jelly, then look no further than HARRYS Razors - if I got 2 shaves out of a blade it felt like Christmas,
  4. You will get hundreds of different answers but only one is correct - the AA S410, used, fit a Reg and prepare to take the full blame should you ever miss a target.Thread should be closed now as there's nothing more to add.
  5. How absolutely selfish that people are still returning from overseas and walking thru our Airports unchallenged - they should be isolated for at least 2 weeks, obviously 3000+ deaths is not enough to wake people up? This whole situation was totally avoidable and I'm sorry but the blame is with Boris. When this is all over there's going to be a lot of questions to answer.
  6. Aha - different wings of a mansion eh? Now I'm beginning to see why she married him, and there's little ol romantic me thinking it was for love.
  7. ilovemyheckler - put the sausage meat into Puff Pastry (you can buy it frozen from just about anywhere) and spoon a line of chutney alongside each "sausage" ( caramelised onion works well but Baxters Albert's Victorian is nicest I've tried) and make sausage rolls - superb.
  8. Makes me wonder how genuine their relationship is if he caught it but she didn't?
  9. I'm still struggling to shake off the vision of Joe Sugg fainting after cutting his finger on Bake Off - dont think I've seen anything so pathetic in all my life.
  10. She sleeps with a richer man than we do - simples.
  11. Glad if I can help - pm replied to. Actually - in the post now, one has slight damage but I have cleaned it up with a needle file and it should be absolutely fine.
  12. OMG NOOOOOOOO - it's Spit the Dog.
  13. Got a pair that seem to be 15mm - also found a new indexing post for the 410/510 series - pm me your details and I will post the lot to you.
  14. Will give it a try - if I can source some Plum Jam!
  15. With the latest closures of Takeaways just wondering if anyone is interested in a cheap home cooked version of S&S chicken, my Mrs has been cooking this for years and we never pay TA prices anymore. First make your S&S sauce, add 100ml White Wine Vinegar to 100g of Tomato Ketchup and 100g Sugar, 175ml Water, Tablespoon Cornflour into Saucepan , whisk over heat and bring to the boil and keep whisking until liquid looses it's cloudiness - simmer for about 2 minutes then remove from heat till needed. Using frozen battered Chicken pieces/Nuggets and fresh Veg it works out really cheap.Whilst the Chicken is cooking in the oven you need to simply chop into largish pieces 1 large Onion, 1 Red or Yellow Pepper into a Wok with a tablespoon of Sesame Oil (use Sesame Oil as it fills the kitchen with chinese food smell!) mange tout and a packet of Microwave Rice. 7-8 minutes before the Chicken is ready, cook the Veg on a medium/high heat adding a good splash of Soy Sauce once the Veg starts to sizzle - cook for 4-5 minutes then add Bean Sprouts and cook for a further 2 minutes. Serve up and enjoy.Around a minute before serving you will need to put your sauce back on the heat.Sooooo Easy.
  16. On draught, it it chilled? BTW 3x500ml /£5 Tesco. £2.70/pint ? I would be pished as a newt in minutes.
  17. Measure the distance from a flat surface to the bottom of the medium scope "ring" and tell us what it is and how much more clearance you need.
  18. After being reduced to accepting Hobson's choice, Beer wise, I filled my boots with the Bath Ale's "GEM" - now I'm kinda glad I did - it's superb. If you get chance try it, it's an Amber Ale and 4.8% so does the job. Might be considered a bit limp wristed but I find it best chilled.
  19. Went to bed this morning at 1AM and up at just after 4 so you are not alone. I sometimes listen to rain/storm sounds on youtube played via headphones but I'm guessing not working and packing up the ciggies you have experienced quite a lifestyle change. You could try reading or doing crosswords before you sleep or, at the end of the day, a glass of Whiskey can do wonders.
  20. Over 3 weeks and £48 to get my form back from the GP - then only after 3 phone calls and a threat to charge them if my guns have to go into storage,
  21. Not all side plates are true sidelocks? I thought that it is either one or the other - a Sidelock is a totally different Animal to a Side Plate - a Boxlock can have side plates, a Side lock cant?
  22. Kayleigh - Marillion, from the Album Misplaced Childhood?
  23. I use a late 70's Original 35 occasionally.
