  1. I have an ultra se in .177, it would do the job without issue. Possibly the most accurate pcp I've ever used.
  2. Feed and water them, they need quite a bit of both. Pick 1 good pumpkin per vine and bin the rest if going for size. I grew squashes last year, had some the size of beach balls doing that. Pumpkins get bug quick if you look after them. Doing Butternut squash this year but haven't given them any time really due to work.
  3. Did you eat half the steak before taking the picture?
  4. I bet if you ground up the turkey and mixed in some chorizo it would make an interesting burger. Maybe a few other spices to add depth but everything taste better with chorizo. Same thing with sausages, grind it up, add stuffing, cranberry sauce etc and make some sausages. I've done that with chicken and its amazing.
  5. Pop to tesco/aldi. Buy chicken or whatever as stated above, whilst your at it spend 70p on the little packet of sauce, black bean or whatever, and chuck that in as well. Makes a quick meal for pennies.
  6. I can claim on insurance if needed. 20 quid a month is worth it vs the trauma of an NHS dentist. I'm a long way from 60. Works out around 60 quid a visit. The NHS dentist was 30 odd quid and you'd struggle to get an appointment, if you needed a filling you had to book another appointment despite telling them for example a filling had fallen out. Literally opened my mouth for him to say oh yes it has fallen out book another appointment for a filling (5 week wait). Walked round to the private dentist, signed up, seen later that day and recieved a pain free filling moments later. Grand total of 60 quid. I remarked that normally the painkiller was like a scaffolding pole being rammed into the roof of my mouth and I didn't feel it that time, he chuckled and said you only feel it if they do a poor job and that i had had 3 injections. Everyone I know that's gone private says similar and won't go back.
  7. I've been private for about 20 years, it costs me 20 quid a month. I get an appointment normally this same day and definitely within 24 hrs in an emergency. Fillings cost about 30 quid more than the NHS. Check ups and hyginest are included in that 20 quid a month. See them 4 times a year. Never waited in the room, never given me any carp I always get with an NHS dentist. Would never ever go NHS dentist again. My small town has at least 3 such practices and an NHS dentist. No one says anything good about the hs dentist and often 1 visit is enough to never go back. I'd do the same with health care if similarly priced.

    Question

Lots of street dealers see them straight.
  9. It's easy enough to make your own. Occasionally I do a pigeon and pork one, 50/50 of each, very tasty. Plenty recipes online. Nice with cheese as a snack or eggs chips and beans for quick meal. Lasts about a week in the fridge.
  10. Its simple to remove, get a chamber brush - it's slightly wider and considerably thicker and more brushy than the bronze cleaning brush. Squirt some wd40 or other solvent like cleaner down the barrell. Use the chamber brush to scrub it out, a mk1 hand and bit of elbow action will suffice. Hey presto it's all gone. No need for any drill attachments or other silly business. Takes about 5 min all in.
  11. Agreed. They don't need the power, it already exists in the most part. Codifying firearms law would be nice, why have a .22 s/a rimfire but not a .17? Bit odd. Statutory training and perhaps a licence for fao's is not a bad idea, many many aspects of policing have similar. Some hold multiple. The survey should be completed by all however I fear the decision is already made.
  12. Not much of a spot check if they phone you first.
  13. Police can enter to prevent a breach of the peace anyway. They don't need new laws to do so. Section 5 is not as simple as it looks and the circumstances are different each time, being abusive in public may constitute a breach, it may not, depends if its a busy high street or a deserted road for example, 2am in the morning when clubs are kicking out or lunch time outside a nice bistro with kids having lunch, and what actually was said. No one actually has to be offended either, just likely to be. Can't remember the last time I saw a sec 5 in custody to be honest, it's been a while, nor a breach of the peace for that matter. My experience is if you don't voluntarily surrender it gets revoked remarkably quickly and then your in possession of firearms unlawfully. My issue with the survey is the biased questions herding you one way, almost like it's a tick box exercise for a decision already made by people it doesn't affect
  14. I don't think the questions are that great and having considered them it's pretty clear what the HO is planning. I'm more worried about kitchen knives and machetes than licensed shotguns.
  15. Did mine 3 weeks ago, 130 quid also due to the new gas type. Wife's car it's £60, same garage, different gas.
  16. Your insurer pays you and then claims off the other party, when i had my wrote off the chap was quite matter of fact about it, he didn't want to give too much as he may struggle to get that back and they would in turn claim more for theirs when it happens. I provided 5 cars of same spec (as advised by an insurance broker friend) and we met in the middle, gaining about a grand overall my way and crucially clearing the finance by a few (200) quid.
  17. I have to read thru this since I last posted but I'm pretty sure I said find a few cars (3-5) same make, spec etc as yours (or worse) at a higher value so when they say here's a tenner you can push back and say actually your well short there and here's my evidence. That's not taking onto account what value you insured yours for (they won't pay more if you said 8k but now want 9) or have a fixed value
  18. I've also thought hydrogen is the answer. Toyota honda and others are going that way. If honda made a toothbrush I'd buy it.
  19. Just yesterday I slammed on my brakes and sounded the horn on a car I hardly saw about to pull out of a junction. 4ft high grass obscured his view. Been hit like that before and its not much fun. Last winter or maybe the one before they didn't grit the roads (apparently dont have to) and I passed 6 accidents on the way to work, 1 I believe was very bad. All due to sheet ice.
  20. Any tinted glass that keeps the sun off. Never had an issue. I tend to use glasses that change colour in the summer.
  21. Advised at work not to take cbd as it can produce positive results in drugs test.

You've made me Google it now, Phlox paniculata, pink.
  23. The system is a mess. I can't see it changing soon, they can't handle the uptake on traffic and have no money to train, retain and equip staff. Should it change however I'd have to go the whole hog, something I've put off, not for lack of good reason but because I can make do (mosrly) as I am. However they work within legislation which, to be fair is written down for you, so its a relatively simple process of ensuring you get what you need. Legislation would have to change, given the upcoming election I can't see the im the next 3 years or so, recent events will give a flavour of what they are going to use.
