  1. No experience with trailer tents, but... We’ve got a modern (monster) tent. 8 man, it’s huge, bigger than my first flatbim sure. Takes about 15 mins to set up. My sister has a comparable air tent, it must save about 5 minutes putting it up. Not worth it my opinion (and I think they’re cool and totally wanted to get one). Although maybe a lot, lot easier if just one person is putting it up mind you.
  2. You’re killing me! 😄
  3. Crikey. That’s a great price for great gun. Picked one up last year for substantially more. Good luck with the sale. Don’t think you’ll need it....

    Tommy Robinson,

Unfortunately I think the PS is wishful thinking...
  5. Noted... will try - would never had picked these up without a recommendation.
  6. Cracking truck. If this has been another year or two down the line I’d have bitten your hand off. I like taking care of my stuff - always a pleasure seeing others do too.

    Tommy Robinson,

A fair assessment of the situation. I’m surprised by the lack of grasp of why he has been prosecuted, even on this thread the straightforward explanations have been provided.
  8. I’m in the same boat. Feel lost not having a watch but wouldn’t want to get my phone out each time I had the urge to time check.
  9. I had to search it it to double check it was on Guntrader, it is - £575. I’m pretty meticulous about looking after stuff, apart from it being oiled I doubt you could tell it wasn’t almost brand new, I don’t know the condition of the one you have though. https://www.guntrader.uk/guns/shotguns/webley-scott/over-under/12-gauge/950-game-series-190626103818001
  10. I’ve got the game version, absolutely no complaints- decent wood, deep bluing and nice engraving. Probably at the right price point. Was really stiff when I bought it new a couple of years ago and after a few thousand carts has loosened up to merely tight. 😄 If I was to be super critical, my only complaint is maybe it’s a bit front heavy, but you’re not paying Beretta money here. I’m selling mine on a commission basis through a dealer - but had no idea what to ask, as like you I couldn’t see any second hand ones at all. Only selling as I’ve upgraded.
  11. Probably surprise you how many British killers are working in communities... but then that headline wouldn’t fit the political ideology of the paper, or indeed poster (from the avatar)?
  12. They do have a fishing rod or two though 😄. My experience with Ed (bought two guns actually, a year or two apart) has been nothing but positive. I’ll be back and have recommend him to others, can’t say I’ve done that with any other RFDs, or even any business in general.
  13. I don't reload, but earlier this week I was in the new Edinburgh Rifles & Sporting Goods shop on Comiston Road (Edinburgh, funnily enough). They have reloading supplies, although I couldn't comment on specifically what. I was thoroughly pleased with my new (to me) 686S and got a fair price on my trade in too. Well chuffed.
  14. This made me chuckle. A taste of his own medicine would be some karma on a plate.
  15. Hee-haw rabbits near me. Saw one cutting about Linlithgow Palace today though 😄

    Crawford v Khan

    Hard to disagree with that.

    Crawford v Khan

I didn’t even put in the effort to find a stream, never mind pay £20 to watch Khan. The predictions were almost spot on about him claiming he was winning before being hit, albeit below the belt. Certainly looks like excuses from a washed up (and imho always over rated, especially by the likes of promoters/sky) fighter, on the way out.

    Coffee

At home, filter coffee in my machine, or sometimes using the Italian style stove top pot. Grinding beans makes a crazy difference to the taste. Takes an extra 20 seconds and the wee machine only cost £20 I think.
  19. That feeling of triumph though when that part of an old flymo (that’s been sitting at the back right on the top shelf for years) is exactly what you or a mate need... 💥
  20. Doh. Never knew this existed. Bought some kit off eBay from them recently, which oddly was cheaper than going direct.
  21. Winner winner chicken dinner.
  22. Quite. My FEO reccommended me phoning to advise police of any time I’m out shooting near towns, what with townies more likely to phone in a report of ‘man with a gun’- which they obviously have to follow up, despite 99% of these calls being obviously legally held guns being used legally. If Police can resolve it with a quick phone call, or already know it’s you out shooting, they are more than happy. Makes sense to me. Re the OP, not much you can do really. Can’t imagine the neighbours want to join you, but an invite would be a polite, neighbourly gesture - unless you fear that backfiring with an acceptance!
  23. I thought my Beagle was bad. I’d have hit the roof!
  24. That looks superb. Just a bit too far for me unfortunately (and working lots of weekends a pita too).
