Olliesims
They have the AA cla contractors road signs up now around the area, so preparations are already on the go, was surprised to see tickets for Friday are £29! Abit steep

ayano3
I will be going on the Sunday. Booked a Premier Inn near Coventry for 2 nights, travel Saturday evening once the Mrs has finished work, CLA all day Sunday, hotel Sunday night and travel home sometime on the Monday. Hotel was £102 and 30 minute drive from the venue. The tickets are £21 if you book online. Edited June 16, 2013 by ayano3

JDog
I am not much of a Game Fair man, to me they have simply become excercises in retail therapy. However I do intend to go this year as Ragley Hall is only about an hour from me and I would like to meet up with PW members, some of whom I have had online banter with but not many of whom have I met. Saturday seems to be the most likely day and as harvest looks as if it will be late this year it is unlikely that I will miss any shooting over stubble. If there is a concensus for a time and a place I hope to make it.

Graham, let me know if you need recommendations of where to eat out...I am just outside Coventry (but probably wouldn't recommend anywhere in Cov lol!) Wildfowler
Yep, we booked it up at the weekend. We're taking all 3 dogs and the kids and we're camping for the 3 nights... Not sure if we'll need the 3 days but I'm sure it'll be an experience!
Will Poon
I'm too thinking about it, either CLA or midland game fair
welshwizard
Not going, just too expensive for me to justify a trip there even just for day fuel, food and worst of all admission charge, sticking to local ones cheaper all round .
raremeat
We`ll be there again. We make a weeks holiday out of it with the caravan but dont stay on the CLA site because of costs. We stay on a certified location 5 miles away at £11.00 per night including electric hook up and toilet and shower thrown in.
-Mongrel-
Nope, with the cost of fuel from the South Coast, then camping/entry etc, just too steep. It'll cost me 500 quid before I've bought anything worthwhile!
neil3728
Did think about going to this, but might go to the midlands game fair instead. I have never been to eithere so which is best. Midlands or the CLA Edited June 21, 2013 by neil3728
