sako751sg
Havent posted anything for a wee while so will put on maybe too many pics from the back end up to now. Game has been slowish with the mild weather but with the two wee bits of sna the numbers were better and have had some good walks. The most woodcock ive seen ever for so early so hopefully thats a good sign and have had a good few up to now but again the harder weather would help. Unbelievable amount of ducks, mallard and teal especially and we have had some cracking evenings with huge numbers coming in so a bit of restraint needed, and the amount of barley going doon is something else.Macs nay missing much with the new 20 and has got up to speed with the teal which he didnt crack for a while. Fushing was poorish, mostly due to the dry summer but caught one on the final day for the third season running and managed 15 salmon and sea troot all in which isnt too bad. Fed the foxes all September and hit them with the November moon and had at least 6 come in and managed 3.Been feeding ever since and still at least 2 coming so will try them this weekend if we get a clear night. The roe was the last two of the season,a cracking stalk and the bigger one would make a silver.
