Snowing here heavy and has been for the past two hours, seems to be sticking too so should make for an interesting days shooting tomorrow! Started snowing their heavily about 18:00, so we left my Sister and BIL and headed back for Cheshire. Was settling and heavy snow all the way till we got past Derby then lightened up and bit, but thick on the A50 till this side of Stoke. Rain around here has washed most of the snow away. Our normal 2hr drive took 3hrs. Rang my sister to tell her we got back safe and she told me it hasn't stopped snowing since we left Mansfield and is now 3" deep around there.
