poontang
The Times 'Briton Of The Year' award this year went to our favourite character King Nigel Farage. A fine choice I'm sure you'll all agree. So, as we come to the end of 2014 who would be your 'Briton of the Year' and why? It can be anyone, doesn't have to be political, it can be sporting, entertainment or whatever takes your fancy. (Nominations for your mum/dad etc are probably a given so no family/friends please). andypaint
I've just read about the little boy of 5 years old who passed away on Xmas eve from a brain tumour that he had been fighting for a while. He was a big spiderman fan and his father dressed up as spiderman and convinced the little lad it was the real spiderman. Very brave lad. Zapp
I'd agree with Nigel Farage. Not because I neccesarily agree with everything he has to say, but certainly on the basis of having put the frighteners on our complacent political establishment and for succesfully representing the views of many disenfranchised voters without being crowded out or shouted down. Completely agree Zapp he has and will continue to make a big difference to the inbred politics of this once great country and hopefully put back some of the great into great Britain if he can last long enough he is a hated man by many of the establishment and their friends in the media and big business as we see and hear so often, so he must be doing it right!!!!! :good:
