oowee
Which do people prefer. I almost always sit but seems most of the videos on you tube have people standing. Maybe its because i shoot mostly crows and standing still for a long time is not so easy. Or maybe its an age thing?
fenboy
I sit and stand to shoot mostly , if things are busy then I stand all the time.

Imperfection
Depending on how far i have to walk,i sit on either a plastic barrel with cushion or a directors chair. I have however fallen asleep in the directors chair though.

Greenhunter
I sit, even to shoot mostly. It depends alot on the position of the seat and how the bird comes in but I always feel I shoot better sitting down. GH
marsh man
It don't matter weather I am pigeon , or duck shooting , I always shoot sitting down , if I am in a hide I turn sideways to the decoys so I am looking at 3 o clock when my decoys are at 12 o clock and then I have a full 180 degrees to shoot with my left arm , where as if your facing your decoys and your right handed and one come level with your body from the right you need to be young and flexible or made out of rubber ( which I am neither ) to take it on . What have made life a lot easier was buying a swivel seat with a backrest on , as I can now take the shots with out fear of twisting my back, the only downfall is the weight so if you have to carry that and the rest of your gear you still might twist your back lugging all that to your chosen site . Cant win really
JBS
Always sit down and stay sitting to shoot unless the shot forces me to stand
WelshMike
Always sit down and stay sitting to shoot unless the shot forces me to stand Same for me.
bakerboy
If you do sit down (I do) ensure you Bum is above yours knees, you will find it easier to get up to shoot when required. I shoot from a sitting and standing position depends on the target.
superspark
Maybe its just me but in my old age I like to sit in my nice comfortable chair. I have my nets at just the right height so I can see ever where I need to and have no trouble at all shooting what comes in to my decoys

kiffy
i tend to sit and if possible we use palstic patio chairs as their comfy and enable a quick stand for a shot.. i do have one of those folding chairs that you see in garages and its cracking and pretty comfy even when sitting i do prefer t oshoot standing as for some reason im not as good a shot when sitting
Whitebridges
Sit mainly. Bergara shooting chairs are ideal as you can swivel. If things are running hot then i raise the height on the hide and stand up.
a303
Always sit. Took a bit of getting used to when going from clays to pigeon.
pigeon controller
I have always stood in the hide , I only sat once when I had to make the hide on a normal height wire fence.
