Carman06
The only issue I could foresee is at renewal if the FEO thinks you have more then will comfortably fit he may think your likely to leave one out.

Underdog
If you fix a cabinet to the floor you can get more in it! A fiddle but can be done. My three gun held six thus when I was skint, wait a minute, I am still skint! :-(
Old Boggy
I had my local constabulary query the fact that I had 5 guns in a 3 gun cabinet and ended up emailing a photo to show that some were top and tailed etc. to prove that they all fitted and were secure. fastfred69
I've 3 gun and there six in it,is a squeeze granted but if you take out the dividers and top and tall it fits, and also bought a few of those cheap gun socks to stop them getting banged about. Dekers
As says above , can't find much info on the matter. Thanks Capacity it's meant to say in the title I suspect you have already got the idea, there is nothing illegal about cramming as many in as you can, as long as you can still lock it. grrclark
How does that work If you fix it to the floor you gain extra room If the cabinet is lying flat on its back the guns don't fall out so you can lay them in the cabinet toe to tail. hawkeye
If the cabinet is lying flat on its back the guns don't fall out so you can lay them in the cabinet toe to tail. thats when cutting the back out and a few floor boards will work
grrclark
thats when cutting the back out and a few floor boards will work I rebated my cabinet into the dry wall as there is big air gap from plasterboard to block, I should have thought of that idea and I could have stored a dozen in that space. Lord Geordie
Beat you all I had around 14 in a 5 gun cabinet. Got a call from Northumbria and an arranged visit. Went through serial numbers etc and asked if I would please fit an additional safe I didn't have a problem with that!
Westward
It's not even a legal requirement to have a cabinet, but most police officers don't realise it. Policing in a democracy may be "by consent" theoretically, but in practice we have to walk a fine line between not peeing them off whilst not letting them kick us around by making up "laws" to suit themselves. For the sake of a quiet life I'd advise against overfilling the cabinet. If you need more space get a bigger cab.
