Boromir
This has been going round facebook and viral. Some of the comments ive seen on it are stupid Help the deer usual ****. At least this shows shooting is a much better way for a deer to go than being eaten by a bear. Edited June 16, 2015 by Boromir

grrclark
The deer certainly made clear its objection to the bear trying to eat its head! In the natural order of things being eaten by something much bigger and fiercer than you must rank fairly highly on the bad way to expire scale. ShootingEgg
The bear wasnt exactly quick about dispatching it though, more give it some serious loce bite than killing it... Also who in their right mind puts stuff like this on facebook. I dont use facebook myself. And im of the generation that do heavily.. But if I did thats probably the last thing id put on it. hoggysreels
Suppose thats what happens when man decides to build housing on land occupied by native species. Think they're fortunate to have had the opportunity to see wildlfe doing what comes naturally, albeit on their mown lawn ...
winnie&bezza
Big cats kill a lot quicker than bears that's for sure. When you hear off people getting eaten by bears, they say the bear lays on them and eats the soft fleshy bits like legs etc whilst their still alive! Big Al
A large caliber centre fire would put the deer out of it's misery. But I think I'd shoot the bear first as it has just discovered it can hunt live prey in a back garden.
Twistedsanity
Needs showing to the anti brigade as an example of what we would need to do to restore the natural balance of things instead of culling, somehow I doubt they would rather reintroduce bears and wolves into the wild than use a quick painless method and risk meeting this fella when they are having a pimms and game of swing ball in the back garden! pimpkiller
Oh deer oh deer Looks like a young bear, that deer is putting up a good fight.
Fatcatsplat
I have a mate who lives in upstate New Jersey and they regularly get black bear and whitetail deer wandering around - He's had to clear deer remains from his front garden several times after bear attacks - They are generally wounded or young deer that get done. flynny
I would have shot near the bear to try and scare it off the deer, then shot the deer for some venison lol, I'd give the bear the scraps though, after all it's just saved me a fortune in stalking fees lol, ITS CALLED NATURE , ITS WHAT WILD ANIMALS DO , Atb Flynny
