12gauge82
Really? Yes really, may and her cronies are trying to keep us in the EU all but in name, against what was voted for, I now want to see the hardest brexit possible. krugerandsmith
Fabulous speech; shame it wasn't shown on national tv. I agree... No chance of the BBC showing it in its entirety .... wish he were doing our negotiations instead of the present people. They are weak in comparison. Start trading with the rest of the world as a free nation. We can trade with the rest of the world. We do trade with the rest of the world. We will go on trading. That is not the issue. The issue is the trade arrangement. No deal will mean the loss of billions in tax from the city as a starter for ten. There is no such thing as a free trade deal, everything has its price why oh why do you think they take so long to arrange? The EU operates a protectionist environment to protect our vulnerable / strategic industries. We as the UK would want to do the same to protect our farmers, our energy industry, our NHS, the list goes on. That's without mentioning protecting the people who live hear from dodgy goods, poor food standards and so on. A truly free trade arena without standards is a race to the bottom. Theres so many things wrong with this statement. 'We can trade with the rest of the world' Yes, when the EU have told us we can, if they say we cant ,then we cant, or we can with a tax added on. 'The issue is the trade arrangement' Exactly the EU says give us £100 billion then we might give you one 'Theres no such thing as a free trade deal' Dead right, we pay £10 billion a year for one. 'why do you think they take so long to arrange?' 1.Because the EU is really bad at getting things sorted, and 2.like a solicitor, the longer it takes ,the more you can charge ! 'The EU operates a protectionist environment' A protection racket more like ! 'We will make you an offer you cant refuse' springs to mind, you WILL buy the product from who WE tell you to, you WILL NOT produce that product yourself. 'Protect people from dodgy goods and services' Really ? We cant protect ourselves from these things? , we need the EU to hold our hand whilst we wander the minefield of the worlds markets? Makes you wander how we used to go on without them

No surprises here, look at the EUs silence on the brutality dished out by the Spanish police, completely disproportionate abuse of power. The EU and the corrupt MPs within the UK government will stop at nothing to overturn a democratic vote, despicable behaviour!

Nothing more than another pro EU propaganda piece from the rancid little rag. There is no legitimate source for the story just a human rights lawyer stirring the pot because she's about to lose her lucrative job on the ECHR. 12gauge82
Yes, also nice to see others there speak the truth, I'm sick of the slanted reporting by the majority of the media reporting doom and gloom, I just hope it all falls through with no deal and we revert to wto trade now as I couldn't trust Mrs May as far as I could throw her with brexit now.
