The UK has fought back when threatened in far more risky times than these and won, I hope the EU become even more unreasonable than they already are and force a no deal, the EU will be the ones to regret it, like farage once famously said, your not laughing now are you! In the final two quarters of 2018, the Italian economy shrank by 0.1% and then 0.2% respectively, and the Italian Prime Minister has stated that he expects the recession to continue this year. Things are getting worse… Growth for the Eurozone as a whole sat at just 0.2% in the last quarter of 2018, half the speed of UK growth. Wollaston said that she would resign from the Conservatives if the Government ended up heading for no deal, even if it was by default rather than by design. Isn,t it strange that, after the dismal news of Italy,s recession, and the gloomy economy figures for the EU, oowee and retsdon have not been on, banging on about how Brexit is crippling our economy? Despite the fact that our figures show we are doing much better than the EU? Despite a never-ending series of threats from giant EU-funded corporations and even warnings that 12,000 people will die from lack of fruit, the latest Sky Data poll has found that No Deal is still the most popular Brexit option. When asked to choose between the three options, 39% of voters favoured no deal, ahead of 34% who supported May’s deal with the backstop removed, and only 27% who backed May’s original deal with the backstop. Almost three-quarters of voters prefer either no backstop or no deal… Voters also agreed by a margin of almost 3:1 that “people who say we should delay Brexit by extending Article 50 are… trying to stop Brexit entirely”. 12gauge82 Posted January 31, 2019 Report Share Posted January 31, 2019 In other news, the BBC are facing a massive online backlash due to their bias reporting showing a string of rabid EU comission members foaming at the mouth slating the UK and our prime minister (typical bully tactics), while completley ignoring a fabulous and patriotic speach from Nigel Farage who defended our country and the PM, the supposedly unbias BBC showed no counter argument at all. I'm not sure where corruption comes into it, it's a suggestion, one that sounds very sensible if it's feasible. And what Farage does with his money, from wherever he earns it, is irrelevant as far as delivering brexit goes, worrying about where he lives or what he gets paid in isn't going to help this country, or Europe, deal with the transition, post leave.
