Scully
I really don’t know what people are expecting; at that age I’d be doing the same. My kids are 24 and 21, I’ve told them to get out and enjoy themselves.

Fair enough but stop them preaching save the planet as when they left the destruction and litter was worse than after Glasto (another eco warrior event)

Most of those preaching about saving the planet are simply repeating what they’ve heard from others, and at that age idealism is a worthy cause often replaced by at a later age when paying ones way in the world becomes their biggest priority, with a mortgage and mouths to feed....reality kicks in and priorities change. oldypigeonpopper
Hello, cattle don't fight or leave litter and don't catch covid 19, most of those in video shame our young population but the Oxford University graduates did have large gatherings so they did not set an example,

I did not witness too much 'kept in sheds' either ! Not many over 50's involved with illegal raves I'll bet ?

It’s the way it is, like it or not. My youngest went back to uni’ last week and got writ off with a few mates. After having being shut down for months I’d have done the same. They were examples of a few of the laws they were breaking, I am sure their are others. PS there was not a deadly pandemic circulating in the ‘70’s early ‘80’s that we are all making sacrifices to try and get trough. Their parents are probably of an age where they’re in a low risk group and their grandparents even in their sixties have a relatively low risk of being killed by the virus if they’re in good health. If the latter aren’t in good health then they’ll be shielding. 🤷♂️

Yes, you’re right. I’m not making excuses for them, nor justifying it, nor condoning it. They’re kids doing what kids do, just add alcohol. No doubt the rozzers will take care of it. The law is the law, its not negotiable every time the virus transmits to another person it increases the R rate and that delays the lifting of restrictions. Its not about whether these idiots die, (frankly I couldn't care less if that lot or their grannies do die). But good people are going bankrupt, losing their businesses and probably their homes during this lockdown and to55ers like that are just prolonging things. They’re kids for crying out loud! They’re bullet proof! Its a bank holiday weekend, the sun is shining, they’re young and full of life! What were you expecting? Did you honestly believe today’s youths were going to sit around in groups of socially distanced sixes, drinking Ribena and singing Kumbaya? What an old car has to do with anything I have no idea. Why do you keep saying they are bullet proof, to me that is just the most crassly idiotic expression imaginable. I don't get bullet proof in a pandemic, no body has ever suggested ther is such thing as "bullet proof", what ever you mean by that? And why are you crying out loud? Are you suggesting their behaviour is somehow excused because you are "crying out loud" ? Edited April 2, 2021 by Vince Green
