  1. The stock is very short anyway - I had to lengthen mine by 1 3/4" - how tall/short/short-armed are you?
  2. Great stuff! My weekends are also thoroughly screwed with work for the next couple of weeks, but I'll give you a shout in December
  3. Does it slip on if you fire the top barrel first? If so, sticky detent spring as suggested above. Edit Autocorrect malfunction !
  4. Glad you liked it Any chance of having a try with the BPS next time you're up there?
  5. Email W.W. Greener and they will tell you!
  6. Easy enough to fix both in one go - add a stock extension with a bit of ballast added. Might be a bit heavy for the more delicately-built amongst us, especially with the extra, but mine balances on the loading port, and weighs in at just under 9 lbs. Suppresses recoil brilliantly, plus reliable as a very reliable thing!
  7. Another vote for the Sharpmaker here. You can get extra rods for the Sharpmaker, extra fine ceramic for polishing and diamond for removing metal quickly - they work pretty well.

Looks like a solution searching for a problem to me...
  9. Welcome! Whereabouts in the Green and Pleasant Land are you?
  10. Hawley are fairly relaxed about what you shoot, as long as you're safe. I've seen several people shooting pumps up there, plus the odd section 1 auto.
  11. Try; Settings Language & Keyboard Speech Input You may have "Enhanced Google Voice Services" enabled (or something similar) Select "Basic Google recognition" If this doesn't work, try asking on Android Central or the Android forums.
  12. Main thing is, you're still in one piece.
  13. That looks darn good for a first try. If I was being picky, I would echo your comment about the fit of the guard, plus it looks rather as if you have fitted the handle the wrong way up - to my mind the handle should curve downwards, and the pommel should slope the other way, but as I say, I'm being picky. You do realise this stuff is addictive, don't you? What are you making next?
  14. Yes there are a few. The one I use is called Prey - search for Pretty Project. Unfortunately for the op, you have to install it pre-theft, but if you do have it installed, it hides in your phone, and if your phone goes missing, you log in to your account from another device, and mark it as MISSING. The phone will then report its position regularly, and send photos of the user to the the Prey system for inclusion in the reports. You can also hard-lock the phone remotely, and paid for version allows you to remotely delete files, and even perform a factory reset, wiping all your data (you do have a backup, don't you?) No connection, etc, just a satisfied user.
  15. Rapidboy or Ian Atkinson on British Blades forum.
  16. I have never come across an electronic or magnetic "softener" that did anything other than consume electricity and enrich the salesmen, not have I seen any properly-conducted, peer-reviewed evaluations that have indicated otherwise. And that is in nearly 30 years in the water treatment industry - if I thought they worked, I'd sell them. In my (professional) opinion, they don't.
  17. Whether you go for the siliphos-type cartridge system or the full softener route, you should have a drinking water tap direct off the incoming mains. If you have a real problem with scale, I would recommend a softener rather than a cartridge filter, as it will work out cheaper in the long run, plus it will solve the problem completely rather than disguise the symptoms. They are pretty simple to fit, if slightly more complex than fitting an inline filter (you need a bypass and a drain line).
  18. Wouldn't they need to be proofed?
  19. Only ever shot two, both around 20 yards with shotgun.
