MerseaDavid
I always use a cartridge belt when out shooting and I was wandering what you all used? I have seen many people keep the shells in the box and have them on the floor and have to keep bending over all day to load the gun. Some people stick a handfull into their coat pocket and some load from a cartridge bag I was watching one of Jim Albones dvd's the other day and he had a 250 case on the floor in the hide and every time he shot a bird or two he had to keep bending over and he missed out on a bird while trying to get a cartridge out of the box and nearly every dvd he has done he always gets them out of the box. smig4373
I also have a belt...But i usually have a box on the floor in front of me in the hide aswell......I sometimes take a rucksack with me to carry flask, and bino's and other bits and bobs so i put the box on top of that sometimes so i dont have to bend down to far.... Blackbart
Pigeons....a bag next to me(i shoot sitting down so its not a problem) Pheasants......a pocketfull at the start of each drive. I find cartridge belts a clart on and uncomfortable to wear.
spider72
I don't get on with the cartridge belts, mainly cos the 'roof over the tool shed' gets in the way , so it's a cartridge bag from which I top up a pocket for me. Haven't done much pigeon shooting but I guess if in a hide I'd use the bag.

chrispti
I use an Army issue respirator haversack, holds 200 cartridges, if I need any more then I get them out the motor For wildfowling or just walking about then I use a belt. Cosd
If I'm on walkabouts I wear a belt, if I'm sitting in the hide I hang my belt up on one of the hide poles in front of me from its buckle; This way I can load comfortably either when I'm sitting or standing. I also have a cartridge bag I keep in my carry all.

terry b
bag over shoulder or in front of me if in hide, find it comfortable to wear and load from as it has a leather hinge which makes it easy to access
pigeon controller
I wear a jacket with 25 in each pocket and carry a 100 in my pigeon rucksac with 200 in the car. If its hot I hang my jacket on a hide pole and pick from the pocket. The empties go in a stuff sack hanging from the hide with a spring clip. wymberley
Hi' Surprised no one has said what a belt can do to a stock, particularly if the gun is worth a bit. Cheers
