henry d
Here`s my dilemma. A friend at work has had a tattoo and as it is a Bible quote and he respects my religion, but doesn`t believe himself, he showed it to me. I said "Very good" etc etc. yet noticed it wasn`t quite complete. It was Psalm 23:4 and didn`t have "of the shadow" in it. I remember another lad with something similar getting really teased for it and being a little touchy on the subject ever after that. So should I say something, even though it can`t be sorted or not ? Beardo
probably best not to mention the missing text, there's not a lot he can do about it now!

cooky
wait till he pi**es you off one day and then say by the way your tat is wrong
pigeonblasterian
I would tell him or ask if he actually knows the wording on his tatooo. He could have asked for it to be done like that.
Dunkield
I would just ask if he is sure the wording is right, then he can work it out for himself.
Piebob
A friend at work has had a tattoo and as it is a Bible quote and he respects my religion, but doesn`t believe himself, Eh? He got a religious tattoo when he's a non-believer? Don't tell me, he got married in a church as well. Depends how touchy the guy is I suppose. If he's thin-skinned then I'd say something tactfully, before someone else does. I'm a non-believer but as soon as I saw the text in your post I knew the psalm in question, so if I knew it then someone else is bound to and might not be too diplomtic. garymc
Probably paid by the letter so was trying to keep the costs down! I'd say nowt. A bit odd though that he has it as a tat when he isn't a Christian. You never know though!
Pipmoff
Rip him if he's stupid enough to get a wrong tatt he deserves some stick.
XD2
I'd say nowt. A bit odd though that he has it as a tat when he isn't a Christian. You never know though! I don't think it really matters with Tat's I have a Chinese Dragon and I am not chinese (or a fictitious fire breathing reptile), I also have a star and am not an astronaut and finally have a tattoo of Tinkerbell (long story) and as far as I know I am not a fairy. I do think people (myself included) should probably put more thought into getting one, but then I don't really regret any of them so good times. alfa taf
I certainly do not want to start a war, or offend anyone , but why would one have a tattoo in the first place? I have heard that it,s a form of Art or that it,s a way of expressing oneself etc etc. I would have thought that it is more something that people may regret later on in life. Again it,s only my thoughts.

pegleg31
each to their own, often find the ones against tattoo's then turn round to ask "does it hurt" KW tattoos have never really appealled to me but i guess it'swhat extreme you go to.on one holiday i saw a very attractive american girl (stunning) who was almost covered in tattoos, i could'nt help but think if she would live to regret having that many on her body
Ricko
My mate Tattoo Bob of Todmorden (Tribal Shift Tattoo) makes customers write down any words that they want and then gets them to sign it and date it. I have pointed out to several 6th form students that I teach over the years, punctuation errors, mis-spelt words and cross-eyed Shao-Lin monks.
