I get on really well with the "Eley Pigeon Cartridge" i.e. Eley HB 32g 6.5 shot. I haven't tried the new Pigeon select yet.

It looks like Eley will still have both in their range?

Their website is so so bad : http://www.eleyhawkltd.com/cartridge/12-gauge/game/pigeon-select-and-eley-pigeon

......and i quote.

This is a specially designed cartridge for woodies which has evolved though the years to become the nation’s favourite. Having the shot made at our own premises allows us to ensure the perfect pellet roundness and size.
Pigeon Select comes in a 30 gr 6 shot in Plastic and Fibre
The Eley Pigeon cartridge comes in 30gr and 32gr loads, in both plastic and fibre wad options and in 6 1/2 shot Ideal for the younger Pigeons

They're working quite well for me too

Here's a pattern I posted a while back of the fibre version through ~half choke at 40 yards (30" circle).

I might have shot a couple inches to the right

Looks like you have your circle in the wrong place. You have also written IM on the sheet.

that's a very good pattern at 40 yards with half choke, motty noticed it as I did IM is 3/4 choke not 1/2 not many pigeons getting through that I wiil say
