FalconFN
Done, what ever happened to democracy.I think we did that in may last year. It didn't work out for Nigel. Personally I think it would be a mistake to get someone as polarising to be the figuehead of the out campaign. I would find it harder to vote out with him leading the charge and I imagine many moderate floating votes would feel the same.

fortune
It looks like everyone is keeping their heads down for now and keeping their powder dry. Although King Nige was hot on the run up to the general election I haven't heard much from him recently. He didn't need this platform then so why now. All he has got to do is to get out there on the soapbox and get a bit of inertia going. The Muppet press would lap It up just as they do when Boris starts firing up. rodp
I'm still not absolutely convinced which side Bojo's fighting for Doesn't seem a lot happening and without a doubt his ultimate intent is his own well being.

Hate to agree with you on anything but in this case I think you're right. It's a shame because without Farage and UKIP we wouldn't be having a referendum, but more importantly he would wipe the floor with Cameron. not a chance, i want out but want nothing to do with that idiot Shame, as he speaks highly of you! Danger-Mouse
not a chance, i want out but want nothing to do with that idiot I understand where you`re coming from, even if I don`t necessarily agree with you. However, as Scully already said, without "that idiot" it`s highly unlikely you`d be getting the chance to vote. Love him or hate him he`s the one that brought the issue to the forefront of politics and forced the Conservatives to make their manifesto promise. However it`s probably a good thing he`s not in charge of the leave campaign because he is such a polarising character and he`s received so much bad press (even if much of it is undeserved). johnphilip
Jesus wept - if Nige is a liability and a Liar then what in God's name is Cameron? It makes you wonder how many people have realy listen to Nigel what he has to say, i find what he say is plain and simple and you can follow what he is saying he is not trying to con anyone. I do shake my head many times and wonder what people of this country real want or is it they dont care, they are happy to live in there own little world. Let us take our what was once a great country back and make something of it once again. Two great wars were won for our freedom.

Too many folk don't realise with other politicians you have to listen to what they DON'T say, and that's what they'll do at the first opportunity. Farage does what he says he will, not what he's deliberately not said.

NickS
Be careful what you wish for. In the debate at the Oxford Union a few months ago, Nick Clegg (of all people) absolutely wiped the floor with him. Farrage seemed unprepared and was incapable of speaking off-script so if he performs like that again it would be a real boost to the stay in campaign.
