Didn't our ministers get the point ? we voted out of Europe and all it entails...migrants included !

They debated the Calais 'children' in the Commons early last week, I watched it. It was blatantly obvious from the hand wringing Liberals in Parliament and it is ram packed with them that needy UK people are the last thing on their list of priorities, it made by blood boil. Then the day after they debated Brexit and invoking Article 50, again blatantly obvious the vast majority hold our vote to leave in total disdain. What we need is a modern day Guy Fawkes, maybe one of their favoured 'children' will oblige at some point!!

I personally dont think I will be renewing my uk passport, the island we once called home can now officially become someone elses problem.

This government and its advisors should hang their heads in shame.

I will be selliing up soon, luckily my job can be transferred overseas,my son will finish his education this year and INwill be off.

Having looked at my financial circumstances Iam able to go and start our lives out of this place, its like planet of the apes Its a mad house.

Dont leave it too late to change your life,as this island will soon be full of low life scumbags, who will not contribute to the system and steal your jobs everything your families have paid into the system their entire lives.

I do not want to stay here any longer than I need to

It is funny how we send 18 year olds over seas to fight in the army and they are men but these people are the same age or more but they are still regarded as being children.

on the BBC news they show young children aged about 8 or 10 in these french camps but when they come over here they suddenly seem to age by about 10 or more years.

Or maybe , just maybe- the press photos are only of the 'older' ones and not the other much much younger children?

Press 'stirring' - news, especially controversial news sells.

A pic of say fifty nippers, would not have the same headline grabbing ability.

About this time last year Milton Keynes council agreed to take 20 refugee families and support them with housing etc, after being reminded that MK has a growing population of homeless people the council proudly announced that the immigrants could easily be housed with a slight "reshuffle". A statement from MK council earlier this year tells us that their demand for housing is in crisis??

A lot of children's homes having been taking these 'children' all about 6ft talk with full beards, as they get paid the normal rate plus money off the home office (think it's about an extra 100-200 quid a day.

They used them to boost their incomes.

Ofsted have now condemned this as they now say they can not prove their ages and we know absolutely nothing about their history.

TBF compared to British kids in the homes they were polite, hard working (often go out all day and work cash in hand jobs) and don't cause a lot of problems in general.

For 'kids' supposedly coming from war zones they don't half get on with it.

So , these 'children' have the savvy to not only get out and do a days work, despite having to be fed ,housed and clothed by the state, but as soon as they get here ,they start breaking our laws by working illegally ?

Its plain to see how their futures are going to be in this country,no regard for the law whatsoever.

As asylum seekers they can never have their benefits stopped. So for the rest of their lives they can live on full benefits and work cash in hand. Even if the authorities can prove they are breaking every law they are powerless to do anything about it.

That is the immense power of the asylum status in law. It would be better for us if we gave them immigration visas. Then it could be acted on if break the rules or committed crime.

watching a tv programme showing graves of young guys who died on D day and thinking ,boys you wasted your time. So, so sad.

Have to agree with this, our young became men, they went into the trenches.

These "children" PAY to run from it and then live off the state and our money... Im sorry but the real refugees are still in the war torn countries pennyless and starving. Not trying to hijak cars and lorries in calais!!!

Anyone who disagrees with me, don't waste your energy responding as I wont to you.

Is there not a way of checking 'roughly' how old someone actually is?

There must be, if they can date a fragment of tooth to within a year on that is 2000 years old?

Should it not be the other way round? they should carry the burden of proof. Some of the "children" were obviously fake, I don't think anyone seriously doubts that. Surely they would start with the youngest? So will the next lot will have long grey beards and zimmer frames?
