Scully
Ok Scully prove Farage is not from German gt gran parents. So having German great grandparents makes Nigel Farage German does it? Are you serious? His Nationality ( or lack of it ) is not relevant to this topic Anser . Some are still trying to derail this topic and have it locked down... put yourself above it and don't rise to the bait. Nice one FM.

(That is lunatic and dysfunctional in my opinion and not aimed at any member of the forum in particular) Youre right Adge ,there are a couple of people trying to derail this topic

ShootingEgg
So parliament voted for a referendum, letting the people choose. They have and now parliament want to vote again. It really is that simple.... We've voted, the result is out. Im sure the 9 million pound booklet stated this also.

12gauge82
I'm not concerned about it really, the way I see it those who voted out can't lose at this point. If they go against the will of the people there will be uproar and UKIP or the like will probably deliver a 'hard' brexit on the next general election. The remain big bully boys club told so many lies no one believes them anymore and there not going to get away with there usual shenanigans. I'm very proud of the UK at the moment, I honestly believed that although the majority wanted out that people would be scared into voting remain, I also felt the UK lacked the courage of past generations and would be bullied by the elites, goverment and media, well I've got to say, I've never been so happy to be proved wrong. daveboy
So parliament voted for a referendum, letting the people choose. They have and now parliament want to vote again. It really is that simple.... We've voted, the result is out. Im sure the 9 million pound booklet stated this also. Yes it did. From the leaflet A once in a generation decisionThe referendum on Thursday, 23 June is your chance to decide if we should remain in or leave the European Union. The government believes it is in the best interests of the UK to remain in the EU. This is the way to protect jobs, provide security, and strengthen the UK’s economy for every family in this country – a clear path into the future, in contrast to the uncertainty of leaving. This is your decision. The government will implement what you decide.

Now they want to vote again because the people got it wrong?
Gordon R
It isn't the Government who want to vote again. To their credit they are sticking to the promise - unusual in politics. The arrogant Nick Clegg and others can't accept democracy. It makes me laugh when his ilk spout drivel about the electorate not knowing the terms. We won't know the full effect until we are out. There isn't a person on the planet who knows the full script - except Nick Clegg. The man is an imbecile.
Paul1440
Did I hear properly.. as part of the Trede negotoations. India are looking at insisting on freedom of movement as part of the deal. They seem be saying that they see their people as global workforce and an important part of any deal. Umm could be interesting if China want something similar.. Edited November 7, 2016 by Paul1440

Perhaps we ought to let them win the Cricket.? And Tata have done a great job havent they? It just seemed Ironic that a lot of people voted to leave to reduce uncontrolled immegration which it seemes most people agree is a problem. Only to find out that to get trade deals it looks like we might have to give the half of the world right to come. Talk about unintended consequences. Perhaps ths is why it's taken europe 9 years sp far to negotiate.
