Lloyd90
Got my most recent one in John Lewis. Always good staff and can't help you enough. Hate going places like Currys, the staff never seem to know much about th products and it's not very helpful. They always seem to tell you to buy the ones they just happen to be trying to get rid of! figgy
Costco or John Lewis price match and longer warranty, after being let down by Currys PC World and still waiting for my refund for a I watch 2 for my daughter they said we could collect on Christmas Eve at four pm to get email and call at three twenty saying sorry we don't have it and yes we took your money straight away and no you can't have it back for five working days. I will never buy from them again.
Chris Bb
1 I wouldn't touch Curry's with a bargepole, as had been said they'll only sell you what they've got and want to be rid of. Plus, of course, the exorbitant insurance. 2 Panasonic, great TVs, etc. 3 Only went to John Lewis once, I wasn't impressed, either range or service. 4 Costco. Aren't most people ineligible for membership? I can get membership but have never bothered as they're some way away and I've no idea what they actually sell. Lord O War
Don't forget richer sounds. I got my Samsung TV from them and it came with a 5 year guarantee. I had to make a claim on it as the tv kept restarting and it was no problems. Gave them a call and they arranged for an engineer to call on a day to suit me and it was all sorted, turns out it was a faulty wifi card. herby
Thanks HDAV Nothing to do with him and his personal situation but the website looks poor and I have never used them before and a price match off JL seals it really. keg
Sainsburys up our way, was selling a 48in. sharp smart tv for £250 today. Sadly, Sharp i s no longer Sharp. The uk operation closed a while ago. Name is now licenced. Richer sounds or if Sony, local Sony Centre matched Richer.

I can get membership but have never bothered as they're some way away and I've no idea what they actually sell. It used to be hard to get membership but now it's open to everyone on production of ID (utility bills and the like), they still do Trade membership and the only real advantage is that trade get in an hour earlier and get free tea/coffee and Sandwiches/cakes/biscuits

dbob
I ALWAYS buy all my TVs from John Lewis. No quibbles returns plus 5 year warranty. I wouldn't bother with Currys, always found the staff a bit useless or too pushy with the extended guarantee hard sell.
