Lord Geordie
Seaton Sluice! Nice little chippy there too and nice views to sit Al Fresco to eat em too. Also a ten min walk toward Blyth on the coastal road is the Crown Carvery called the Astley Arms! It's not a bad little carvery! Plenty in the local area to view. And the surrounding area has lots to offer also!

Bobba
When compared to previous series I thought the story line in this opening episode was weak. Let's hope the next episode is better.

Zapp
I like Brenda Blethin normally but I can't watch her in this. It's the way she runs around like she needs a wee but can't find a toilet. And the way she talks - not the accent but the cadence. It doesnt ring true IMO. panoma1
I'll reserve judgment on this latest offering.......but I agree her whining voice (not the accent) does tend to get wearing!

It was taken over by Stonehouse Pizza & Carvery in June last year. Never been since so can't say if it's worse or better, when it was a Crown Carvery it was nice and very good value. Ah they have done that at our local Crown Carvery Moorlands but all they have done is put the prices up and introduced a pizza bar.
Fisheruk
Stone house Is the same group as Crown Carvery, just more pricey. Crown Carvery had some really good deals, but not anymore.

Off topic I know, forgive me. A local Crown went Stonehouse a few months ago. Not as good, seemingly lack of and poorly trained staff rushing around? Not tried the Pizza bar. I was "dinnered up" after Christmas so had a meat feast "folded pizza" can't think of the proper name, it was very nice.
