figgy
She can't have forced him into sex with her. Wrong yes, but the pupil was consenting otherwise he wouldn't have gotten into a state to have intercourse. Lots of students have ran away with tutors and teachers since schooling first began. old'un
Right I have had a good think…….I remember when I was at school there were a couple of teachers (female) I had a crush on, but I was saving myself for the right woman.

He's 14 years old so he is below the age at which he can give consent. Statutory rape !
figgy
That's the law of this country not nature as procreation and breeding intended. If he didn't find her attractive and she was pig ugly and stunk. Unless she tried him up and force fed him Viagra sex wouldn't happen. Vince Green
Clearly I went to the wrong school But at my college there were several female students who were alleged to be in relationships with lecturers and that was considered normal back in the 70s and didn't raise any undue comment. Different standards or a different time? Edited June 3, 2019 by Vince Green

Male abusers are rightly treated with revulsion and disgust - I don't see any difference here.
SpringDon
^ agreed. I think some posters are viewing it through rose tinted testicles. The lad was still a child and she was in a position of power. Abuse is abuse.
Vince Green
Yes but there was a female teacher Jill Arthur 29 recently who was prosecuted in America for a non sexual relationship (only kissing) with an 18 year old pupil at her school and the implication was he wasn't one of her pupils. That's still an offence apparantly Edited June 3, 2019 by Vince Green
figgy
Don't think any of us are saying what she done is right. Lots of schoolboys would give their left testicle to have a roll with a hot teacher.
henry d
To all who have said they see nothing wrong with underage sex as a 14 yo male with an older female, how many are OK with the role reversed? Would you be ok with your 14 yo daughter/granddaughter/neice consenting to having sex with an older man?

I'm also finding it hard to believe that their are some making light of the sexual abuse of a young boy ! I can only assume that if it were their own 14-year old involved, he get a pat on the back and be asked if he'd took precautions............. unbelievable ! henry d
Which indicates that something is wrong with people`s perception of sexual relations, which is why the laws are there to (try to) stop those who are actively seeking younger sexual partners. Two people who fall in love are a bit different from kiddie fiddlers, now they do need locking up and the key thrown away.
