washerboy
Nothng new really since yesterday. I'm at work until my boss closes the place. I will shop twice a week if I need to, once to put fuel in my car. Until I no longer need it to get to work. I haven't been visiting folk or going out, gym was closed on Friday evening. I see 6 lads at work and my Mrs when I get home.
Mice!
He didn't say don't go to work though, to me it was just making it clear stop treating the nice weather like a bank holiday. Hopefully the muppets who enjoyed their weekend out will get the msg now though?

Expect many people to be surprised and shocked.

Because a lot of folk will find that what they consider essential very much isn't and the longer they persist in thinking that the more draconian measures will be deployed. washerboy
I expected more, I honestly thought I would not be allowed to work tomorrow. If your producing non food items, or not working in a shop or garage or emergency services I thought we would be told not to work
Rob85
Really do wish I owned a springer air rifle to plink with now that i cant get to the fields....doubt the neighbours would appreciate the 22lr being blattered down the garden. eddoakley
Does anyone understand "only travel to work if it's essential"? Does this mean if you have to travel to get to work or does it mean only if your work is "essential"? Basically, what work is allowed? Anybody know? Edd

Edd As someone said, briefing notes will follow to clear that up, the PM only had 5 minutes on TV. I would expect the list of key workers already announced will be the list of 'essential' work.
