Jim Neal
Absolutely no signs of petrol station stupidity round here up until now. I've been and filled up all 3 vehicles and 6 jerry cans just in case. 😂

Walker570
Well I went to fill up with LPG this afternoon and found that it would be two weeks before they had another delivery. I topped off with E5 at great expence although a penny less than surrounding garages at 1.49 I can see LPG going above a £ in two weeks time. Remember when it was 23p not so long ago. I just paid £0.95/L for LPG at a local independent place, I think Morrison's still has it at around £0.75/L but it's a much longer drive. RyanMc
South Tyrone in NI, £1.48 on the way into work, on the way home £1.55! fookin nuts. My l200 is going to go cold turkey for a while. Not going to improve anytime soon, may fire up the push bike!

I'm fortinate that I pass the 5 mile one every week or so and top up. The 3.9V8 is a hungry beast but the sound it makes is worth the extra. It was 95 last week but I am sure it will go over the £ on the next delivery.

B725
Our local garage in the village has been increasing the price every day.
rimfire4969
Things are more stupid than normal in Cornwall, local garages are taking the p!$$ with prices when they have it. Local garage had a delivery of diesel on Wednesday after running out. Loads of people wanting it, maximum of £30. I needed some but went just before they close at 7 pm no queue, old guy in from of me put in £4.83! when I went to pay the garage owner was still trying to say that the minimum is £5 but he explained that's all he could fit in the tank. I expect his little car would do 500 miles on a tank full. Edited March 4, 2022 by rimfire4969

discobob
Meanwhile - been in a meeting this morning where reading between the lines they want us back in the office 5 days a week - no payrise for 3 years and I have heard this will become 4 years 😞 before the pandemic we only done three days. Funny how the ones who want this are all new managers - that have negotiated their pay for travelling. Whereas a lot of the "workers" are people who started when it was at another location and then they moved into a City Center with no parking!!! That will be my fuel bill going up by about £200 per month 😞 plus train costs of £

discobob
The last time we had rampant inflation like this was in the 70's - under a Red labour government I think (people older than me may correct me) - now it has raised it head again under a Red/Green Conservative government
