Where can they go? What can they do ? Legally they cant stop people coming..eu law..they have no where to put them and no money to pay for it.....!! I spend a good bit of time on the rural west coast.....they are even sent there.....the locals hate them....due to things like staying in the hotels being fed in the hotels given money doctors housing schools etc etc when a local cpl struggle to get a house.....resentment is building.....and fast!!.... but the politicians are busy with their god like "its our duty"..... Was in dublin last week....oconnoll street would scare you.....3 generations of foreigners huddled in groups...everywhere..garda now parked up in central reservation......you get the picture!!!! And of coarse dont forget the real reason lots are in the south...theirs a lovely big road up north onto the ferry with no checks as its internal uk.....see where this goes.....hey presto they are now on mainland untraced untracked and unchecked and unknown!!!!!! He was heard telling someone it’s a no brainer; every room taken seven days a week for the foreseeable future. I can’t help but think it’s all going to end in tears. Whilst ireland may have space they have no housing....last few years even the locals struggled to get a house......rent is sky high.....and others wonder why resentment is growing........its not racism is just plain and simple ordinary folk narked that someone coming off a plane gets looked after better than them!!.... 243deer Posted February 19, 2023 Report Share Posted February 19, 2023 When your countries hotels are permanently full and migration is responsible for nearly 50% of your population growth common sense suggests that you need to slow down immigration drastically for the time it takes to accommodate those already here into our society. This will then give them a far better lifestyle than living in a hotel room and they will also start contributing to society via tax rather than being a drain on it. Then we can accommodate more migrants, if appropriate and preferably in a controlled manner to avoid the situation we are in occurring again. Why the people who advocate unfettered migration want to be so cruel to immigrants as to condemn them to a life in a hotel room is beyond me. I feel for the folk in Ireland who are part of the cruel system where it is illegal to limit migration to a sensible level appropriate to the needs of everyone in the country at the time.
