Is Donald Trump actually mad?

Apparently he was insulting to the Judge and the American Legal System when appearing at his arraignment.

Judge Juan Manuel Merchan oversaw the arraignment of former U.S. president Donald Trump on 34 felony counts of falsifying business accounts.

The indictment of Trump follows his alleged attempts to hide payments regarded as "hush money" to various individuals including the porn star "Stormy" Daniels.

Trump (and others like Johnson, Cummings, May, Corbyn, Abbott are somewhat similar) have no real concept of 'the truth'.  They believe what they want to and see that as 'truth' and don't take on board what others think/say.  Is that madness?  I don't know.

Biden is fairly obviously 'not all there' at least some of the time but seems to have a team - some of whom (e.g. Blinken) seem to be competent, whereas others (like Vice President Harris) seem to be kept under wraps.  Biden doesn't actually say much directly - just reads (usually rather badly) speeches written for him - whereas Trump speaks 'off piste' and uses social media without restriction (or apparent forethought).  We saw that when he suggested that ingesting bleach might be a defence against covid!

I think that our current team (Sunak & Co) are probably slightly more grounded in reality.  Starmer - I don't know.  He actually says very little of consequence and is so dull and boring, he probably can't remember what he says anyway.  He has changed his position - EU, Corbyn (who he supported and has now expelled) so frequently that it is difficult to accept he actually has any steering beliefs.   Rayner is simply loud mouthed and seems rather stupid.

Before I start I’m not a fan of trump. But I’m not a hater, more enjoy the comedy value.

Having spent a lot of time with American people over the years, many who vote for him simply do it to make a point. Some children in the USA are born to be politicians and this is hated by many Americans. So Trump is their big FY to what they see as a corrupt system.

Other (normal people) think he’s a good politician and gets stuff done, not worrying about woke rubbish.

The big issue, we are not American and why should we expect them to think like us.

Had I the right to vote for Trump or H Clinton. I’d have voted for Trump every time. Just like people voted for Boris instead of Jezza.

Reckoned to be between 30 and 40% of the population! Go figure?

I will admit to hoping he was a breath of fresh air when he was planning to "drain the swamp" turns out he is just another big fish in a very foul swamp!

Who cares if he got his way with a porn star.   Hope he enjoyed himself       Clinton done the same

It is NOT about what he did with a porn star, it is ALL about hiding payments when standing for the highest office in the western world!

Should either remember to wear his glasses or ask for a BIGGER Print version!

The American establishment are terrified of Trump, that’s all there is to it. Yes, he may be guilty of all manner of things ( who amongst them isn’t?) but they are so scared he will win another term they will do anything to ensure he doesn’t or can’t. If he isn’t convicted there is nothing to prevent him from standing again. That’s all there is to it really.
We see it over here to a much lesser degree.
The opposition parties have nothing to offer any of us, absolutely nothing, so in attempts to ensure the Tories don’t get in again they will try anything to ensure they don’t.

Not words much if you help can't read order the right in the!

I think his problem is he gets lost and confused as to where he is. Then comes the staffer's worst nightmare: he starts to ad lib and say what he thinks should be there not what's actually there!

the alleged attempts to hide payments to various individuals including Stormy Daniels, I can confirm that there were reports of payments made to Daniels in 2016 by Michael Cohen, Trump's former personal lawyer, in exchange for her silence about an alleged affair with Trump. However, Trump has denied having an affair with Daniels, and there is no evidence to support the claim that Trump personally attempted to hide payments or was involved in any criminal activity related to the matter.

We will see, there are 34 charges in this set and he will quite probably be called to account for at least two other sets of charges.

The various charges against Trump (these latest ones and many others) are not designed to succeed , or put him in jail.
They are designed to put him in a position where he cant stand for POTUS.
This is the democrats greatest fear, I mean if the dems are so great at running the show, it doesnt matter who stands against them , does it ?
Except , its taken as given theyve done a considerably worse job at running America than Trump ever could  Something a Trump campaign would painfully point out to the people of America.

So how do the dems handle their poor record ?
They resort to embroiling Trump in numerous law suits, wild speculation of Russian 'collusion' and reveal any other dirty little secrets he might have, like him having some sexy time with a porn star 17 years ago !
They bombard him with whatever media dirt they can find, and dig around or invent evidence that has eventually lead to his arrest.

Meanwhile, Hunter Biden has had enough dirt of his own making , and by his own admission has broken the law numerous times, the FBI said a year ago , they had enough evidence to arrest him for weapons violations , tax and corruption offences.... To this date , Hunter has not been charged , arrested or questioned, with anything.
How strange ...

And the prophetic words of sleepy Joe seem to have come true, after his pipeline prediction , we also have this one from last year.

'“We just have to demonstrate that he will not take power if he does run, making sure he — under legitimate efforts of our Constitution — does not become the next president again,” Biden said.'

A political fit up, no more or less
