Shambam1962
I was given a limited edition Border Fine Art Fox off my Auntie when she was moving from Scotland to Wales and downsizing 8 years ago. What she failed to mention, it came with 13 other pieces of various black face sheep and sheepdogs. She lived up the North of Scotland as a child on a farm and her father was a shepherd and kept black faced sheep, and she collected Border Fine Arts as this reminded her of her childhood days on the farm. When my Auntie pays us a visit she always wants to see the figures and reminisces of her childhood days. My wife hates the sheep figurines with a vengeance, and always moans about them, and I tell her they have to stay until the old lady is with us. I quite like them, but not an entire flock. oldypigeonpopper
Hello, I've always liked those Bob but never see in local charity shop, my son is a frequent visitor and might have found something interesting , a Japanese bronze plaque , although it maybe a copy, yet looking at the markings it was made by a known artist, Inoue of Kyoto, Meiji period Edited August 11, 2023 by oldypigeonpopper
