During the summer I tried to buy bangers to stop pigeons settling a few fields away from where I was shooting. I couldn’t buy them anywhere. I tried all the usual farm supply stores and more. pigeon controller Posted December 24, 2023 Report Share Posted December 24, 2023 I inquired at a local fireworks shop just to buy the bangers to make some specialist rope bangers and was informed that they had been banned in the UK, still available in Europe. The storage of fireworks ( rope bangers) has also been tightened and a lot of retailers are not prepared to upgrade security so demand has dropped. I have some bangers left which I am saving to make depth charges to fend off Orca attacks on my boat. I will try and get some more before they all disappear. Orca attacks are regular and almost daily off the coast of France and Spain. Several sailing boats sunk many more disabled and towed to port.
