What you should be asking, seeing as this is a forum ostensibly about pigeon shooting, is whether anyone is available to alleviate the pigeon problem.

Agreed. No location given. But, if not too far from Bristol, I’d happily help.

The OP may want bangers to use in conjunction with shooting. During the summer I tried to buy bangers to stop pigeons settling a few fields away from where I was shooting. I couldn’t buy them anywhere. I tried all the usual farm supply stores and more.

I’m sure if he needs a person to make loud bangs - which cause pigeons to tumble from the sky - invitations will follow………?!

I inquired at a local fireworks shop just to buy the bangers to make some specialist rope bangers and was informed that they had been banned in the UK, still available in Europe. The storage of fireworks ( rope bangers) has also been tightened and a lot of retailers are not prepared to upgrade security so demand has dropped.

Some firework displays are being replaced with drone shows it must be having a knock on effect to china firework production. I have some bangers left which I am saving to make depth charges to fend off Orca attacks on my boat. I will try and get some more before they all disappear.

Boat is currently out the water in Dartmouth and later will be berthed in Plymouth. Orca attacks are regular and almost daily off the coast of France and Spain. Several sailing boats sunk many more disabled and towed to port.

Its nature fighting back against global warming!

Soon you'll need body armour for the foxing and stalking, they're just waiting to strike back, rabbits, badgers and deer have been suiciding into cars for years.

Doomed we are, doomed 😂
