Crunchy grass underfoot in the paddock this morning with the dog. A red mackerel sky at sundown and a definite chill in the air.
Fires on and all is toasty indoors.

Thank gawd for the winter fuel payment :mad:

Met Office outlook for the earlier period (16th - 26th Nov) updated a bit from my previous post - now saying;

For 16th - 26th November "Temperatures falling below average and feeling particularly cold in the strong winds."

For 26th November - 10th December. "Some colder interludes, especially earlier in the period, are possible but overall temperatures more likely to be around or above average."

Just had to scrap the ice off the cars. Temperature definitely dropped last night.....

I was out late trying to find some clear sky to watch the meteorites. No luck despite looking for a couple of hours. Imagine my frustration when I woke to a hard frost showing the cloud cover had cleared at some point in the evening.

Have you seen Graham Hancock's series on Netflix, Ancient Apocolypse? The Taurid meteor stream features prominently.

I don't do much tv but that sounds worth a watch. Did you seen the meteorite shower?
