Is that the same Priti Patel that was hounded out of post by lefty civil servants?  Probably one of the things they did not want to do

Not then resigned as Home Secretary so that Liz Truss could appoint her own choice to hold that office as Secretary of State? She wasn't "hounded out" as she remained in post until Johnson resigned as Prime Minister and was replaced by Truss. But never let the facts spoil the spin.

She was hounded out. Civil Servants were leaking rumours that she wanted things done quickly and properly, which wouldn't really suit their agenda.

Anonymous bullying claims as I remember, likely her methods were a bit too radical for the leftist agenda of the civil servants under her charge, so they got their heads together...

Apologies if this suggestion has been offered before but shouldn’t our ‘establishment’ negotiate with those countries where these violent individuals have came from, to accept them back to serve their sentence in their own country’s prison system.?
I know there’ll be costs to our country associated with funding/managing this suggestion but long-term, must be cheaper than housing them here for the duration and there’ll be able to re-embrace their own cultures and food too..

Those who are 2nd Gen. criminals should perhaps experience the climate/culture in Rwanda perhaps..

Life can be whatever the judge decides is the minimum sentence to be served.

So he could be sentenced to life with a minimum term of 40/50/60 years.

He could also be given a whole life term meaning he never gets out 🤞🏼

Liverpool has a secure unit for the criminally insane. Park Lane er......Hospital

There was a high security place on the grounds of the old Rainhill hospital. Quick check and it is called Scott Clinic (now) - don’t know if that is what it is still used for though

This whole situation would be funny if it were not so tragic. The scum had got in a Taxi the week before armed with a knife and intent on a school massacre but had been talked out of it by his father, he had been expelled numerous times from school for carrying a knife and had a Al Qaeda training manual and had been making Ricin at home. He had been flagged up to Refrain. On the other hand a guy in Milton Keynes had his guns removed for using "colourful language", it really does beggar belief.

Sentencing today at 11:00, I bet he gets an easy life in a secure institution, if he goes to prison he will be a marked man and in solitary.

That's what I'm expecting (easy), but at the same time Starmer needs this to go his way, I'm hoping the lad gets hammered with multiple life sentences and left to rot.

Unfortunately because he was 17 at the time of the offence he cannot be given full life orders, but with three murders of innocent young girls and numerous attempted murders I really hope he never sets foot in our world ever again.

That'll depend on the prison and population he ends up with. There will be many inside, of a certain demographic, who will see him as a hero, I suspect.

And MANY more who will see him as a TARGET.

If he was Irish, he would have had a night visit from the SAS...
