My Suzuki X7 and the countless miles ridden on it with my mates on their RD's, LC's and KH's having a ball :good: , two daughters (who have remained firmly on the right side of bad), all 80's music, the relative lack of crime........can't remember having to lock the car doors at night back then? (and if some unfortunate soul had been stabbed, shot or abducted it was big news and got talked about with concern rather than glossed over as it is now).

Oh, and catching cod from late August/Sept onward, the Bristol Channel was alive with lovely fat healthy fish, happy days/nights :good:

I'm with all of that apart from a small edit to 1 son and 1 daughter.

Lots of quite important firsts for me...

First Trout (Oct 7th 1981), First Sea Trout (12th of Sept 1982), First Salmon (21st of September 1984)these were all on bait but managed the first on fly in the 80's as well. Popped the cherry , passed me driving test, got me first gun (Webley Victor remember them?), which led to first rabbit, pigeon etc. Played my first proper rugby matches for my club.

Music, not everyones cup of tea, but I loved the Pogues (still do listen to them), :good:
