Thunderbird
I grew up living opposite the village bakery, and we had a bread delivery round every day. Those were the days. Because we were so close our bread was always still lovely and hot. One of my best childhood food memories is melting butter and marmite on a lovely warm crust. Paul223
either on cold toast, a great big dollop mixed in with butter then spread on the toast or in a cheese breville (the best bits will be the leaky bits which frazle off and go hard on the outside)

Bloke
Got absolutely plastered at a bike rally years ago, apparently went to a local all night shop, ands sat outside my tent eating a full punnet of strawberries dipped in Marmite and swore it was the best thing I had ever eaten. Not had the nerve to try it again sober, though!

BerettaSV10
If I'm out of pork dripping its my next best favourite on toast. Now your talking nice bit of bread plain or toasted spread with dripping and a hint of the gravy from the bottom of the pot.
