after pretty much emptying my cartridge bag yesterday ive just gone to fill it back up and on going to where i hide my slabs of carts realised how many i have there... i dont go to gun shops that often and if i go for what ever reason and have spare money i buy some so was plesantly suprised to find 9 slabs under there and probably the equivilent of 3 slabs in the safe i keep on top of my gun safe

so it set me thinking how many do you guys tend to have hidden away at home?

I struggle to store more than about 6 slabs but that's fine as I try and buy 1000 at a time and sometimes buy the odd slab when out.

Need another 1000 soon anyone seen express at a good price in South Wales?

Serious clay shooters often but 15k a time that's about a pallet iirc!

I don't think I have ever kept more than 750 in and that was when I won 500! Run of the mill stuff is so easy to obtain so its not worth making the modest saving over the storage room taken up. I am not a clay shooter or a volume pigeon shooter so only really stock up at the start of the wildfowling season and 250 should be far more than I need usually, .410 I actually buy at a box or two a go just when I am passing Malmo or other gun shops or dropping in, I only use it for a little rabbiting and pests around the grounds and to shoot 50 a month might be going some The staff are more than happy to not turn me upside down on the price for small quantities of this tool.

That information is of course private. Nobody but you should know how many bullets/cartridges you keep in your house, especially wouldn't advertise this over a public forum.

Why exactly? Particularly cartridges, not like you can easily find my address or where the carts are.....
