activeviii Posted September 16, 2014 Report Share Posted September 16, 2014 Mum left this world to be with her beloved Husband of 58 years at 10.15 today. 82 years old and devoted to me and 3 siblings all but 1 delivered at home by a Midwife who came round on bike. The only woman I ever met that made us feel like prince's ( and princess ) on a meagre budget and miraculously could make a lamb joint last all week ! Gods truth, I never heard her swear or speak an ill word about anyone in my 55 years, and like my Dad 18 months ago never complained about her lot just got on with it. In her final hours she mumbled to my Sister that she loved us all and wanted to be with Dad and we were to look after each other. She had been very lucky.. We are the Lucky ones Mum God Bless and a big Thank you to all the Staff at the Coronary Care Unit at Bristol Royal....You were Brilliant.! Always hard to say the right thing or something that may help ones lost. Thoughts are with you and your family, a glass will be raised tonight. To Mum.....
