WinchesterDave
I read that the UK is in for its worst winter in a decade. Do you think we are in for a heavy snow fall anytime soon... I am hoping it snows again so I can have some fun in my jimny;) Dave

Yes when I Googled snow forecast UKat night it did mention something about this weekend-northwest, North Wales, North East and west midlands. As said previously though, probably a load of hype. kennett
They print the exact same story year after year, probably on the basis that one day they will be right. It is going to get noticeably colder over the weekend, with snow showers forecast here in the East, but then after that back to wet and windy Edited November 18, 2015 by kennett

poontang
dont belive any of it, they never could get it right Absolutely. When you have to rely on accurate weather forecasts to plan your hobbies (shooting and photography for me) you soon realise just how utterly useless they are. Lord Geordie
I remember the late 70s the roads were all closed up here! I was stood at mums bedroom window watching the snow form huge clumps on the foot bridge before crashing down onto the road below! Snow was near 2 feet deep! Not the inches that scare people now! Straight out into it and had fun, had weeks off school too. Was magical.

norfolk dumpling
Finished cutting my lawns yesterday but later after visiting in laws wow the rain!! Driving along A47 (Southern Bypass) could hardly see vehicles 50-60 yds ahead and road awash. Traffic all very sensible for a change. How our weather can change in a matter of an hour or so. Shooting on Saturday so here's hoping for good (shooting) weather.
