Fisheruk Posted May 22, 2016 Report Share Posted May 22, 2016 Two last night, at last. Full moon is never great time to get the rabbits. Drove up through one of the golf course permissions and nothing about. Parked up and set up the night vision on the HMR and set off for a mouch. After two hours with the night vision had only seen hedgehogs and mallard ducks, wandering about the fairways. Never seen so many hedgehogs. Arrived back at the car and there, 100 yards or so away, were two rabbits out on the edge of a fairway. Set up the trigger sticks. First one thwack, quick jump and it laid down. Other stood still wondering what had happened to its mate and that was two for the bag. Drive back through the course and nothing else about. Although moonlight is not good for rabbit control it is still great to be out for a moonlit mouch. Total now 980 Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
